I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Today I was considering the various aspects and elements that make Hive the truly exceptional Blockchain Ecosystem that it is, and as I contrasted it with how things are done on other blockchains, even other sovereignty-driven blockchains, a significant insight came into my mind. Most blockchain projects that I know, including the other three sovereignty-driven blockchains where I'm active, all have one very important leader or founder. Bastyon has Daniel, DeSo has Nader, and Qortal has crowetic. While all three of those Blockchain Ecosystems do have multiple developers scattered around the world, there is one individual who heads that development. That's not how it is on Hive at all, and thank goodness!

Hive has no single head or leader that oversees development over time, which is a very good thing, and for several reasons. Development on Hive is open to any Hiver with sufficient passion, vision, and skill. There's so much development across different parts of the Ecosystem, in fact, that many developers working on their respective projects don't even know each other, or the others' projects. That's pretty wild indeed. Crypto projects, or any type of projects really, that have only one main leader, tend not to endure for very long. What happens to such a blockchain project if its leader dies or disappears? Also, with one leader, it is far easier for nefarious governmental and corporate agendas to target promising crypto projects, and to shut them down, or to co-opt them for their own insidious purposes. That can't happen on Hive.

Another aspect about blockchain projects that have only one primary leader, and usually only a handful of developers, is that a lot of excellent ideas are sidelined, or put on the shelf to address at some time in the future. Contrast this with Hive, where many individual developers and dev teams are working on diverse developmental tasks all over the Ecosystem, focusing in their areas of unique interest and passion. The potential for development on Hive is just so much greater.

I've called Hive The People's Blockchain, and it truly is that. Every aspect of Hive is based on the community of Hivers that make it up, development, management, maintenance, governance, everything. It's all up to us. We are not 'users' on Hive, we are owners, stake-holders, and yes, we are developers, too. Hive, and what we create here, is totally and completely in our hands, which is exactly as it should be. I would have it no other way.

Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing my Hive tasks, a bit later than usual, around 2:45PM. I put my focus first on taking photos for these posts, first, while the sun was shining. I walked around the property a bit, and a short way down our jungle road, getting a lot of great shots as I went. Once I had a nice batch of photos, I strained and blended kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) in the Landing, then with that done, I buzzed my head and face again (I was getting shaggy, looking the part of a jungle hermit quite well), took a shower, then I went to sunbathe on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn for a while. Toward the later part of the day, I got my machete and tag-teamed clearing the cane grass along the second driveway with Zai. I cut it down a fair way with my machete, then Zai would pass through the areas that I just cut with the electric weed-eater, to get everything nice and low to the ground. That weed-eater has three, very sharp, steel blades, that definitely get the job done in no time flat. Once I had cut through all the areas that we intended to clear, I peeled off to go take a shower, with Zai leveling the last few sections. After my shower I collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, then headed back to the Flow House, to get into my evening round of Hive tasks, and catching up on my notifications. I had just started on that, when Iolanthe came up to the Flow House to ask me if I could make her food down at Tutu's. Although I was thoroughly exhausted after my clearing work, I agreed, and walked down to Tutu's with Io, to get her something to eat. After making Io food, and hanging out with her for a little while while she ate, I walked her to Braja's place (with her riding on my shoulders, as she usually does), then I finally made my way back to the Flow House, to get back to Hive. I had more notifications last night, so I wasn't able to finish until just before 12AM. I stayed up a bit longer, doing a little token management, checking in on Bastyon and X, and then going to bed, way too late, around 1:30AM. I woke up around 7:30AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing a round of token management, starting on this post, then getting out of bed just after 8AM, to go make my superfood fire coffee.

It's now just after 1:30PM, so a fantastic time to end this post, so that I can get to a few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House later in the afternoon, to first strain and blend kefir, take more photos for these posts, and then land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's expression of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

2024 Life Goals

1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do.

2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness.

3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.

4.) Dance regularly again.

5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again.

6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.

7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.

9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth, care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.

10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.

11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
