I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
One of the greatest mysteries in my two and a quarter years on Hive is why do some people (like me for example) dive in and thrive on Hive, while others never even feel inclined to start their Hive journey, or leave soon after arriving? It's the most curious thing, because I saw and very deeply appreciated Hive's exceptional technological framework, and it's incredible potential, pretty much as soon as I got here, and the more I've learned and the deeper I've gone, the more passionate and all-in I've become!
I know many of you reading this have had the frustrating experience of talking with people about Hive and its many wonders, only to have what we share fall on deaf ears. It's basically to the point now where I just do my Hive thing, without giving any real effort to onboarding anyone at all. I'll simply keep building, growing, and saving, to create my own success, thank you very much. That's pretty much how I am with The Great Awakening now, too. I'm here to help, but it's not my job to wake up or save anyone, and I won't argue with people at all about their perspectives, regardless of their accuracy.
Bringing the conversation back to Hive, this glorious Blockchain offers truly life-changing opportunities, but people have to actually be open to them, and be willing to take these opportunities in their hands and run with them. Some people do this happily and enthusiastically, and it shows clearly by how quickly they grow their accounts. Why can some see Hive's opportunities and potential, and some apparently can't at all?
Hive definitely seems to attract certain sorts of people when compared to conventional platforms or frameworks, especially the ones that go deep, being often very intelligent, multifaceted, and fascinated with complex systems. Hive enthralled me from the beginning, and nobody had to convince me of anything. I onboarded myself. I saw Hive for what it was, I dove in, and the rest, as the saying goes, is history!
For whatever reason, Hive fits my unique pecululariries and idiosyncracies very well indeed, and the framework felt quite natural and easeful for me from the beginning. It made sense to me and I understood it. Even with it's occasional rough edges or things not always being ideal, I love it! Why does Hive fit me so well, and not others? I'm definitely far outside the norm in my technological preferences (among other things), being passionate as I am about sovereignty-driven technology, like Linux, and especially Arch Linux, Bastyon, Qortal, and of course Hive. None of those are 'mainstream' or centrally controlled, and thank goodness! I would not be involved with them if they were!
I don't know why I thrive on Hive, but it's obvious that I do, and I want to help everyone that wants to do so too! Hive gives copious opportunities to do so, bursting from everh nook and cranny of the Blockchain, but people must choose to make use of them! I do, and every single day!
Yesterday, Christmas Eve Sunday, was almost entirely Hive-focused, as most of my Sundays are now. I pretty much only left the Flow House to take photos for this post (yay, there was sun!), strain out and blend kefir, make food for myself, and get food for my kitty friend. The rest of my day and night was devoted to Hive tasks, catching up on notifications, token management, and compiling and writing My 82nd Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 1 Year and 7 Months of Setting Goals and Tracking Progress, and My Year-End Review!, which I finally finished and published just after 12AM. I should have gone to bed immediately after publishing it, but I instead stayed up until just about 1AM, doing more token management, and catching up on notifications again. I slept reasonably well, but I could have used more sleep, that's for sure! I was feeling the need for more sleep when I woke up around 7:30AM, but alas, I had things to do! I did a quick round of token management, before finally getting out of bed around 8AM to go make make my superfood fire coffee.
I attended the thankfully-short Leadership Council meeting from around 11AM to 11:30AM, then I returned to the Flow House to write this post. There is jungle-neighborhood Christmas gathering today that Ano thinks I should attend, though between how I feel, the work I have to do on Hive, land work, and timing, it seems unlikely that I'll go. It's just past 12:45PM, so it's an excellent time to end this post, so that I can get to my afternoon round of essential Hive tasks, and then later in the afternoon, leave the Flow House to take photos for tomorrow's incarnation of this post, and then land work.
I deeply appreciate you all very much! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! Merry Christmas! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
