I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Even though the date on my post says September 22, I'm writing this on the 23rd, and this is another very special day indeed (just days after celebrating my 6-year anniversary of using Arch Linux), because today is my 2-year anniversary of coming to the Hive Blockchain! I got the expected notification from @hivebuzz this morning, and immediately took screen shots.
It's incredible to me that it's already been two years on this incredible Blockchain, and I can tell you that I'm more passionate, excited, and all in than ever! As many of you might have noticed, I'm one very buzzy (and consistent) Hive bee!
Stats Today
2,614.824 HP
68.085 Reputation
In my two years on the Blockchain I've surpassed 2,600 HP and 68 Reputation, and just take a look at my stats on Hivebuzz! I've made over 28,000 comments, I've distributed over 41,000 votes, and I've published almost 1,200 posts! I've also recieved over 22,000 comments/replies and and close to 45,000 upvotes! Holy wow! Amazingballs!
Anything which I've accomplished or achieved here on Hive would have been impossible without the immense support and generosity of the exceptionally amazing Hive community. In truth the greatest wealth which I've made in my two years here are the deeply beautiful and irreplaceable connections and friendships that add immeasurably to the richness of my daily experience here. There are several people here that I trust completely. I say it a lot, but it's true, I so deeply appreciate you all! Thank you so very much!
These past two years have been a truly fantastic journey, on which I've learned and grown so much! I'm a different human than when I first arrived here!
I began on Hive off-grid in the jungle, I left the jungle for a relationship, and when that relationship ended it is to the jungle that I returned, and where I still find myself today. Most of my time on Hive has indeed been off-grid in the jungle, pretty wild, huh?
In my next year on the Blockchain I intend to reach dolphin level, and surpass 70 reputation. Dolphin level will probably come first, especially if my DOGE/SWAP.DOGE sell orders finally go through (🤞).
It's so surprising to me the level of commitment, dedication, devotion, and downright tenacity that I've had for Hive! I saw something deeply special two years ago when I appeared here, and that perspective has not changed, if anything it's become more obvious to me. We truly do have something very special indeed on this glorious Blockchain, and I'm forever grateful to have discovered it, and to have had the foresight to dive in deep! Thank you, Hive!
Friday was another lovely mostly sunny day with some scattered rain. I was got Hive to a pretty good pause-point by around 4PM, later than I would have liked, but that's how it flowed. Part of the reason was that Iolanthe, Ano and Melekai's 11-year-old daughter wanted to watch videos on my phone, which I let her do for a while. I'm usually doing various Hive tasks on both my phone and computer, so doing things only on my computer slowed me down a bit. I also shared a lovely conversation with Aura, a woman who stayed here at GaiaYoga for a time, and who is preparing to continue on in her journey. I'm grateful for the conversation, but it just pushed my time back a bit.
As I was leaving the Flow House, my adorable little kitten friend kept following me down the lava steps, so I hung out and played with her for a little while. Once I finally left, I walked around a bit to take photos for this post, in the beautiful late afternoon sunlight.
Although I had intended and hoped to get more work on the land done, I only got to two tasks. I first focused on going to check and clear around the new sapling trees that @aukuna and I had planted (cinnamon, pili-pili nut, and allspice) in the pasture orchard. That didn't take long, and all the trees looked great except for one.
Once I finished that, I went to do another round of weeding in the fenced garden. I worked at that until it started to rain. With the rain, I called it a day, took a shower, made food for myself and got food for my kitten friend, then I returned to the Flow House to focus on my evening round of Hive catch-up and tasks. I kept going at that until I got too sleepy to continue, so I paused what I didn't finish, and went to bed. I slept very well, and I picked up where I left off on Hive in the morning, completing what I couldn't last night.
It's now just past 9:30AM, and I have a session scheduled with Audrey for the early afternoon, so I want to get this post published, and get Hive to a good point of pause, before Audrey arrives. With that in mind I shall end this post for now, so that I can do a quick round of Hive catch-up and tasks, as well as prepare the space for the session. I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
