I talk a lot about how much I love and believe in Hive, how I'm all in for the long haul, and how I consider it to be a truly excellent investment. This morning I'm walking my talk. I mentioned a few days ago that I had some off-chain crypto assets (2,317 PKOIN, that I had made on Bastyon) that had been surging in value in relation to the US dollar, and that I had seized the opportunity by sending them to BitForex and putting in a sell order for them. My sell order sat there for a while, even though the sell price I had set was almost reached several times. I noticed yesterday evening, however, that half of my self order had gone through, as I had over 650 USDT (US-dollar-pegged) tokens available in my BitForex account. Yahooey!
I immediately put my sights on buying some Litecoin/LTC. My first buy netted me 7.88 LTC, which I then sold for a hight price, then bought it again at an even lower price, giving me just over 8 LTC. That was from last night to this morning. This morning I decided to send my LTC from BitForex to Hive Engine, which I did using a SWAP.LTC address. It took several minutes of suspense, but my LTC finally arrived in my wallet, minus the fees.
After fees, I received 7.998 LTC, which I'll hold until LTC's value in relation to the US dollar goes up more again, then I'll sell it for a nice chunk of SWAP.HIVE, which I'll then convert to HIVE and power up, very likely on HPUD. At the present prices, I would receive just over 1,9000 HIVE if I sold the SWAP.LTC now, so I'll likely do a few more rounds of buying and selling of this batch of SWAP.LTC against SWAP.HIVE, to grow it a bit more, before I finally sell it for the last time, for hopefully over 2,000 SWAP.HIVE.
What's cool is that I still have half of my PKOIN sell order on BitForex to go though, so I'll have another round of LTC coming in at some point, too. I'll be reaching dolphin level far sooner than I expected it would seem! 🐬
I had my Hive catch-up and tasks done just before 3PM yesterday, which is when I left the Flow House to go do some work on the land, but first I needed some more photos for this post, so I wandered around the property for a bit, taking lovely shots as I found them. When I finally focused on land work, I continued with my task of cutting some overhanging branches on one of the Christmasberry trees. This was quite a lot of work, and it was quite precarious at times, but I got it done after about an hour of focused effort.
After doing the branch cutting, I cleaned everything up, put away the tools, then I rested for a bit, before taking a few plants (a mountain apple seedling and a section of a new yellow-and-purple-striped sugarcane) to my nursery to pot up. After potting up the plants, I ended up staying in my nursery to do a much-needed weeding job for another hour or so. When I finished weeding in my nursery, I moved to the other side of the property to continue my weeding work in the bed of poha berry next to the Bedouin, which took me almost another hour.
With my work done for the day, I took a shower, made food in the Landing, then retired to my Flow House abode to do my evening round of Hive catch-up and tasks, which thankful I finished quite early yet again. It was around this time that I noticed that half of my PKOIN sell order had gone through, and I put some focus into a bit of crypto trading, which I hadn't done in quite some time, at least outside of Hive. I stayed up until almost 12AM watching prices go up and down, until I find finally made myself go to bed.
Very thankfully I slept quite well last night, and I feel great this morning. I'm super excited to now have part of my off-chain crypto assets on-chain, and to be able to use them soon to dramatically boost my HP. Glorious!
