I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I aspire to be a Hive whale fairy, sprinkling token goodness all over the Blockchain, supporting the whole Hive Ecosystem, and easily living off my account's dust. Yep, that's my lofty and noble Hive Goal, with a big G, and it gives me unending and ever-replenishing motivation and inspiration to continue ever onward and upward, for myself and for my Hive brothers and sisters around the world.
I'd say that there are a fair number of people like me, here on this beautiful Blockchain, with very similar aspirations, desires, intentions, and goals to rise to great heights, lifting everyone around them as they go. I image pods (or is it swarms?) of Hive whale fairies, spread throughout the Ecosystem, helping, building, lifting, motivating, and inspiring everyone to be and do better. I rather like that dream, and I think it's very possible.
Personally I don't need much for myself, and I have no partner or children. I live barefooted and naked in an food-forest intentional community in the jungle, with most of my needs being met just with that. So most of any great wealth that I create here on Hive would go right back to the Hive Ecosystem and community, which is to me as it should be. I want Hive, and eveyone in it, to thrive, and everything that I do every day here is with that over-arching meta desire, intention, and goal.
My bullseye Goal is whale level, with dolphin and orca levels being big steps along the path. Dolphin level would not be difficult even at my present rate of Growth. Orca level is going to require a bit more of a boost, and whale level even more so, which is why I've put a far greater focus on HBD in Savings, to grow it as quickly as I'm able, to help make my whale dreams come true. We need a lot more whales on the Blockchain, so I invite you to join me on this epic quest (if it's not already your goal)! Imagine the good that we could do, in our lives, and here on the Blockchain! Oh, I have a dream, indeed!
Yesterday was a sunny and warm jungle Saturday, with Hive receiving most of my focus from morning to around 3:30PM, though I did lay down to close my eyes for a bit after publishing this post's previous iteration. HiveSQL being down definitely makes certain tasks, like my @aliveandthriving comment moderation, a bit more challenging, but I'm a resourceful bugger, and I always find a way. It definitely hits home the necessity of greater network decentralization, or even better, distribution.
For land work yesterday I cut some vegetation along the lava trail up to the Flow House, I helped Ano unload coconuts and then load his truck for Sunday market, I removed a few logs from an area where we're going to place two new water catchment tanks, and I treated a longon tree in the chicken yard with a particular acid to induce it to flower and fruit.
After working, I took a shower, made food in the Landing, then I returned to the Flow House for my evening round of Hive catch-up and tasks, which I was able to finish by around 9:30PM. Since I completed everything so early, I went to sleep by about 10:30PM. I slept well until 5:30AM, when I found myself awake once again, so I started on an early-morning round on Hive.
It's now almost 1PM, so a very good time to end this post so that I can finish my Sunday Hive catch-up and tasks, and prepare to put together and write my monster 61st Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update. I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow morning (for these posts)! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
