Cloudbreak!
I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
I've been on the Hive Blockchain for 1 year, 8 months, and 3 weeks as of today, and in that time I've seen a steady stream of developments and improvements to Hive in general, and to various front-ends. Hive's growth and development may not be rapid, and it could perhaps even be seen as slow, however it's also never stopped. Hive's slow'n'steady, yet constant development, is a thing of beauty to me.
This slow and steady organic growth and development allows Hive more easily to adapt, shift, and integrate new features as needed, when it is needed. Hive is battle-tested, and more so every day.
This turtlesque method of growing and developing also makes it far easier for those that do their thing on Hive every day to adapt and flow with the changes. This is important for keeping people on Hive. Quick, radical changes very often means a rapid turn over of people. I know that I'm super grateful that Hive doesn't change like that!
The fact that this already over-the-top amazing Blockchain is constantly becoming better is incredibly exciting to me, and equally as much because you or I could, if we felt so inclined, dive into helping to develop it ourselves! Just wow! I feel myself more and more called to get involved with Hive's development, and it seems a natural progression to me in my journey of coming to know this incredible Blockchain deeply.
'Very variable' is how I would describe the push-pull dance of rain and sun today in the jungle. From one moment to the next sun and rain would swap places on center stage. My Hive catch-up took me from early morning until just about 3:30PM today, at which point I finally left the Flow House to go work on the land.
My plans, however, did not go according to plan. Long story short, a couple weeks ago our three sheep (2 adult females and a young lamb) escaped (for the second time) as we endeavored to move them. Today we got word that the lamb was over at a neighbor's place (Listen's), and that the mother has apparently died. The idea was to go collect the lamb and give it to another neighbor (Stephanie) who has a whole herd of sheep.
I coordinated with Listen and Stephanie, and I walked over to Listen's place with @aukuna. Stephanie came over with her vehicle, on Listen's request, to make getting the lamb to her easier. Unfortunately the lamb was still loose, and quite freaked out because its mother had died (we have no idea what happened to the other adult sheep). In the end we were unable to catch the lamb, that had @aukuna and I in persuit through the jungle. After a bit of back and forth, we finally lost track of the lamb in the forest, so all our time and efforts were for naught.
After @aukuna and I walked back to GaiaYoga, I went to the Landing to strain out more kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend and to make food. Once that was done I returned to the Flow House to do another quick Hive catch up, and then to finally start writing this post.
So yeah, my task for the day went a bit awry, but I just flowed with it the best I could, and continued forward. I took photos in several different places on the property today, as well as while @aukuna and I walked down our jungle road and into the neighboring hue (a multi-property compound) to go to Listen's place.
It's now just about 10PM, so I think I'll end this post now, and go wrap up the rest of my Hive tasks for the night, and go to sleep early. I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
