I Am Alive! ✌️
This was basically me about 95% of the day, in bed. Work from home in bed, eat in bed, writing in bed, and of course sleep in bed. Sometimes it's just that kind of day. Don't get me wrong, I got a lot of work done, but it was all from the comforts of the cave I hibernate in.
From the confines of my feathery platform, I read an article today that stated the first lady of Suriname was appointed to yet another position of power. From what I've been told, it seems she has at least 5 positions now, of which she earns a salary that is. Some even say 6. The current winning party was supposed to be the "good" party, but as we can see they're all looking out for numero uno and don't give a damn about the people.
The same thoughts arise when I watch the appointment to the supreme court of ACB by orange man almost 2 weeks before the actual elections. The same party our tanned friend belongs to heavily stated back then that they would never do such a thing if their party were ever in that situation. This was all to prevent the dancing president from doing that same thing (appointing a SCJ) about 9 months before the election. But you probably already knew that.
The point of this whole rhetorical is that politicians don't care about you. I think a lot of us are aware of that. Some realize it deep down, and a few among us at the surface. If you want a better life, start ignoring politics and instead focus on improving yourself and investing your time and energy in achieving your goals. You will thank me later.
