Today, Tuesday, I went out to buy (finally), I had to go out, but the weather didn't help, but everything is fine now. I bought food for the pets and some other supplies that we needed at home. In general, it was a day a little more hectic than other days in my #life, but it's not much really. The weather was rainy, and now I'm having chest pressure again... I wonder if I caught another flu, well, in this season it's common to catch colds several times, and after a few decades, the immune system is not the same as when one was young.
I don't feel too bad, but it looks like it's going to rain, so now that the power is back on, I'm going to post before they leave me in the dark again. In that sense, I was reviewing the ephemeris of #History for today and I came across a list that said it was 'Typewriter Day', which brought back memories and I liked it as the topic of the day, but then, when reviewing the date more carefully, I find out that the international date for this writing device (or #machine) of typographic characters (manual or semi-automatic), corresponds not to today (June 13), but rather is celebrated on the 23rd of June.

Hoy, martes, salí a comprar (por fin), tenía pendiente salir, pero el clima no ayudaba, pero ya todo está bien. Compré la comida para las mascotas y algunos otros víveres que nos hacían falta en casa. En general fue un día un poco más movido que otros días en mi #vida, pero no es mucho en realidad. El clima estaba lluvioso y ahora estoy teniendo de nuevo una presión en el pecho… me pregunto si agarré otra gripe, en fin, en esta época es común resfriarse varias veces, y ya con unas décadas encima, el sistema inmunológico no es igual que cuando uno era joven.

However, it seems that today's date is the day of the Typewriter in some South American countries, but it is not an international consensus date. Anyway, the date matters to me, because it brings back childhood memories, I learned to type on a typewriter when I was in elementary school. It happens that at that time I was staying with an aunt who was a high school teacher, and she had a couple of typewriters at her house, during a vacation, before entering the last year of primary school, I decided to learn to type, don't ask me why I got that idea, I really don't remember, sometimes I wanted to learn a little different thing. Luckily, my family doesn't mind if you want to learn, and they were supportive of all of us learning anything that might be useful to us.
Well, there I was, prepubescent, in front of a portable #typewriter, which was the one my aunt used the least, practicing with an old secretarial and commercial typing manual. At the beginning it was a disaster, the sheets have to be adjusted by hand, typing errors are annoying to erase from an already written sheet, the types of the printed characters frequently get dirty with ink and dust, so you have to clean them with an ugly purple putty that absorbs ink and cleans metal type. But, despite all the details, and my clumsiness for many days trying to learn to type, I can remember that I enjoyed practicing, I liked noticing how I was learning and how my fingers memorized the location of the keys to be able to write a text every day little faster.

Sin embargo, parece que la fecha de hoy es el día de la Máquina de escribir en algunos países sudamericanos, pero no es una fecha de consenso internacional. Como sea, me importa la fecha, porque me trae recuerdos de la infancia, yo aprendí a escribir en máquina de escribir cuando estaba en primaria. Sucede que en ese entonces me estaba quedando a vivir con una tía que era profesora de secundaria y ella tenía un par de máquinas de escribir en su casa, durante unas vacaciones, antes de ingresar al último año de primaria, me propuse aprender a mecanografiar, no me preguntes por qué se me metió esa idea, en verdad que no lo recuerdo, en ocasiones se me antojaba aprender cosas un poco diversas. Por suerte, a mi familia no le molesta que uno quiera aprender, y apoyaban que todos aprendiéramos cualquier cosa que pudiera sernos útil.
