This second week the theme is: Preparation (or waiting or prophecy)
Today is also December 6. That means we celebrate St. Nicholas Day. On St. Nicholas many people put a shoe or a plate in front of their door again. It is said that St. Nicholas brings sweets or small presents to the children the night before his holiday. By St. Nicholas Eve is meant the evening before the actual St. Nicholas Day.All children clean their boots the night before and hope that the next morning there will be a gift from St. Nicholas inside. My children were lucky!😂

The Christmas calendar is also opened daily. Today there is the double ration of sweets.
