We have an increasing number of apples piling up, both from our tree and from the orchard a few weeks back. We're cooking them down so we can mill them into apple sauce.
The little green apples are from our tree in the backyard.
Our family really enjoys apple sauce and we can go through a jar per night, so we make as many as we can, usually around 12 jars. It takes a lot of apples, but we usually make it.
