We Are Alive! January 5th - January 28th Three Week Hiatus

I have a bit of a tradition that in January, I take a three month break from online activity, or at least a very serious decline in online activity. From January 6th - January 28th. That time is almost here, so my HIVE hiatus will begin tonight after sunset.

Hiatus: An interruption in time or continuity: BREAK especially : a period when something (such as a program or activity) is suspended or interrupted.

I've been posting daily ALIVE posts for over a year now and have tried to be very consistent. I enjoy posting little snippets of my life daily and it's going to be challenging stopping cold-turkey. I've also developed a blockchain habit that will change very abruptly. So here's what's going to go on with my blockchain activity:

  1. I will be alive (presumably) for the entirety of the hiatus.

  2. I will be posting only three days: Monday the 9th, Monday the 16th and Monday the 23rd. I will manage tokens on these days, buying/selling staking. I will manage dcity / dcrops on these days also.

  3. I will resume participating with online activities on January 28th, daily posting, commenting, participation and gaming.

There are a couple of things I'm setting up now:

  1. Passive Income - since I won't be blogging or commenting much for the next 21 days, there will not be any content rewards. Therefore I'm setting things up for automation, not requiring any clicks for a while.

  2. Auto Voting - I have a number of bloggers I support with my auto-vote. I set everything to 100% for posts, once per day, seven times per week. My VP is very low right now, under 25%. This is because I upvote (many) comments 100%. Having only a certain number of posts upvoted daily, the VP should be much better on the other side.

  3. Discord - I'll be checking in on discord a few times a week. If anyone wants to get in touch with me for anything, look me up on discord ironshield#9323.

  4. ALIVE.CHAT - I respond to comments on ALIVE.CHAT on Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays, but this role will be temporarily filled while I'm offline. Resuming Sunday the 29th.

See You On the Next Post!

Wishing everyone the best over the next 3 weeks, I'll pop in now and then. We are ALIVE and THRIVING!

Bye for now.

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations. Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books. I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

Use coupon code FORTY for 40% off your purchase! Check out the books here.
