We Are Alive! February 14th, 2023 Stocking Up

Today was grocery day, I picked up an instacart order from Aldi, then visited a local grocery store. I visited with my 3-year-old, though I told her no baby carrots today.

When we got home, we began the task of putting everything in it's place, including paper supplies. Never know when the next t-pocalypse might hit, best to be ready. :-)

12 rolls of tp for $5.00, not too bad! Who knows what they'll be someday!

There was a great deal on chicken (cheaper per pound than eggs!!!), but someone cleaned them out.

The big treasure was finding butter for $3.50. That's still expensive, but not nearly as much as the $5 - $6 we've been seeing lately. I miss the $2 sales we used to find, when we'd fill the freezer!

This store requires some math skills to determine their pricing. The could be a little bit more helpful with listing the actual price underneath, you don't have to purchase two to get the $3.50 price.

The sun was shining today and it felt like spring! Pretty nice considering it's the 14th of February!

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations. Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books. I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.
