It's the end of the week and almost the end of the year. For some reason, this has always been a nervous time for me, for no particular reason. Maybe it's because it marks the beginning of a new year of unknowns? Maybe it's because I feel there is great potential for the time, but not enough understanding to leverage it?
But I know one thing that makes it better: cookies! These were decorated by my wife and they look professionally done.
The dehydrated strawberries also came out nicely. It's shocking how much volume disappears after dehydrating and how concentrated that strawberry sent becomes.
Four trays of fresh strawberries (six pounds total) shrunk down into about half a mason jar of dried strawberries. A little goes a LONG way.
