It's Good Friday and a legal holiday in the Philippines. Next to Christmas, the Lenten season is highly celebrated. Most folks take a break by going out of town or out of the country. It's a long weekend break for me too. Yay! We, however, like to stay home and enjoy some quiet scene. It's too warm inside the flat, so I found a place outside to record this video. It's a good thing that the online seller neighbor is on a break today too.
Three words: reflect, recharge, and renew. Having this once a year long weekend Lenten break is the perfect time to reflect on one's actions, recharge our energy from the regular hustle and bustle of life, and renew our faith or our purpose in why we do what we do. Hopefully, after the Holy Week, we go back fully recharged and ready to take on the challenges of each new day.
