It's New Year's eve and I'm wishing everyone a happy new year from Manila. We welcome the New Year in less than an hour now. 🎉 Pardon the fireworks here and there as background. It's good to know that there are some folks who are still excited over welcoming 2024.

So, how's my Sunday and New Year's eve? Well, I did get disturbed from my beauty sleep by the early arrival of the cleaning person who is running an errand for me by buying asado (roast pork) and lechon for our media noche. The latter is for the kitties as that's my special treat for them. (We're not supposed to serve chicken on this day. Surviving superstitious belief.) Other than that, the day flowed well eventually. Cleaning chores got delayed, but got done just the same. Plus, I've been able to get some fixing help from my cleaning person.
Fireworks can be heard in the background. I'm not sure how it will go when midnight arrives. I've given the kitties fair warning (esp. the outdoor kitties). 🙏 I pray they will all be okay. Let's all pray for better days ahead and do our part in spreading good vibes and positive energy all around.
