If only I could learn the french language, I think it will go far for me. French language is an international language, which when I was younger, in the primary school was part of my subjects as language.
But should I say unfortunately, I can't speak the language fluently. I can only say some of the basics of the french language, I cannot even spell all the things I can pronounce Lol...
Tho I know it's going to be interesting while interacting with the language. How do I know this? My father uses to travel to different countries, and most of the countries he traveled to were mostly speaking the french language.
And then, when they give us assignments in french language, my dad used to be the one to teach me the assignment, and then, I rarely fail french language, but on exam period, it's every man for him self, no daddy to help, and then after the exam, we see that we don't know anything about french, if not for the help of our daddy.
I am just hoping that one day I will study in another country, and then, I will learn their language, and I am hoping that it will be a french country, and I will try all my best to be serious and learn their language.
But I heard that there is a very bad disadvantage about that.
One of them is that when one has learned the language so deeply, slowly, it will change your accent, and you'll not even know how to speak English properly.
There is a Nigerian guy tht I know that traveled to the neighboring country, after he came back many years later, he could no longer speak good English again, infact, he can't even speak English again. He came back to Nigeria to start learning English from the beginning.
Another thing I heard is that the french language is that it is a dying language.
What do I mean?
When you have the language on your head and don't have any body to talk with, any person to change language with for a very long time, you will just realize that little by little, you have started to forget the language, which is a disadvantage.
But wither ways, I still want to learn the language and look for a way to keep it rolling in my head so I won't forget.
One of the advantages of learning a language that isn't yours is that, you will not be easy to scam in another man's land, another one is that you would be able to learn new things. And life is all about learning, they say WE Learn everyday.
