Today, while walking around the port, the sky was grey and the weather was gloomy. But despite the heavy clouds, the work never stopped. As I looked at the giant storage tanks and the rhythmic movement of the trucks, I found myself thinking about the nature of our daily grind.
Stillness forges the form that chaos only tests—the shape that endures beyond both.
Working here at PT Korindo Abadi (Asiki, Distrik Jair, Boven Digoel), I’m often reminded of this. We are constantly moving, meeting targets, and navigating the challenges of the field. Today alone, this constant motion led me to clock in 6,000 steps—a small physical reminder of the energy we pour into our work every day.
It’s easy to let the "gloomy" days—whether it's the weather or the weight of the workload—drag our spirits down. But there is a certain dignity in the labor itself. It is in the movement, the discipline, and the focus where we find our own form.

I’m curious to know how you all handle the "gloom" in your own lives. Do you find your strength in the silence of stillness, or in the movement of the chaos? Let's discuss.
