Weekly Featured Contents : Some Really Fun Childhood Games

Growing up, as a way to entertain ourselves, we used to play various forms of games. It can be a sport or a board game, it can even be a game involving cards... What's important is that we really enjoyed playing it when we were kids. Tell us about your favorite game.

Childhood is a time when we only think about playing and keep playing without thinking about the future and looking for money, especially when our parents forbid us to play, and tell us to study, of course we are very sad, with sadness I answered, Bek Ile Mak my local language which means soon ma'am. I really remember about this.

Regarding childhood games, of course we all have some games that we always play either when we come home from school or in the afternoon.

all regions also have different games, as well as mine, I live in a village and you can imagine when I was little we only played some local games that we used to play together with other friends.

Here are some games that I used to play together with my friends:

Playing Kites

Playing a kite, this is one of the games that I used to do often, after school I and some other friends went to the garden to look for young bamboo where the bamboo was cut and trimmed in such a way as to be balanced. and used as kite bones. After we finished making the kites, in the afternoon we could only raise the kites because in the afternoon the wind was stable and suitable for raising the kites. I'm still playing this game until now, the difference is that now the kite season will appear after the rice harvest because our area is playing kites in the fields

Playing Marbles

Playing klereng is also my favorite game, we even bring klereng to school if there is no teacher or during recess we spend a lot of time playing klereng, this game is very fun to do, especially when we play it together and we collect some klereng that has been agreed and make a scribble in the shape of a box on the ground then put all the marbles that have been collected in the box, the way to play we make a line a little far from the box and we are all on that line and immediately play the game who can get the marbles out of the box then it will belong to that person.

Jumping Square Painting

For this game I don't know the name, because different regions have different names, but I used to often play this game, basically this game is mostly played by women, but it's not wrong if men play this game because it will be very exciting. how to play we usually play 4/3 people and we make scribbles in the form of boxes on the ground, we take ceramic shards as tools that we will throw and later we will take back when we jump over the box. After the tile is successfully picked up and we turn our body in the other direction and throw the tile back and the box that falls on the tile will be described as a star and become our own box, other people cannot step on it again when it is someone else's turn to play.

Those are some childhood games that I played, until now they will not be forgotten because they are so very fun and help my childhood is very happy.

It is deeply regretted maybe some of these games we can no longer see, because with the development of technology and others, all these local games are very rare to play. even if we ask millennial kids now about this game they will be confused and don't know

Different times, different games that are liked by children, this cannot be denied, even now children prefer to play games either from cellphones or on PS to entertain themselves from the fatigue of studying.
