Is education a scam?

Hi everyone, this is my entry into the weekly featured contest. I want to share my point of view about the topic, "Is education a scam?". I will not force you to agree with my point of view. But as I belong to a developing country. I will discuss our education system and its worth. The literacy level is low, but the point on which I want to focus is this: Do all literate persons benefit from their degrees? I think these degrees are worthless for most people.

Education is limited to books:
Education makes us conscious. But at present education is limited to books only.No attention is paid to children's morals. Is only learning from books an education? In practical life, we have to do a lot of jobs that demand skills.

No Career counseling:
From the beginning, we should do better counseling for our children related to their subjects and jobs. There is none to observe the personality of a child, what subject he should select and what job would be better for him. A student walks blindly but does not know where his destination is? Every parent wants to make his child a doctor or an engineer but does not know the interest of his child. Parents don't even know the caliber of their child. These factors disturb a child physically, mentally, and emotionally.

No guarantee of a job:
We get an education for better employment, but if we are educated, what is the guarantee that we will get a better job? As the resources are limited, the job vacancies are also short. Due to the shortage of resources, the worth of degrees has dropped, and their duration has increased. People prefer to become skillful instead of getting an education and spending a lot of money on a degree. Students depend on their parents for education. There should be opportunities for a part-time job to meet the expenditures of a student.

Closing of topic:
Getting a job has become a dream of the nation. But everyone is disappointed, therefore wants to become skillful, because most of the population is poor and can't afford personal business. If the resources and job opportunities would be increased, the students will take more interest in education. Education must also include skills necessary for doing a job.
