In recent time, i have watched several movies but this particular movie caught my attention, "Last Flight" is a Nollywood movie. Nollywood is a fast growing movie industry in Nigeria, they produce both indigenous and international movies.
Last Flight is a story of a plane crash in Nigeria in the year 2003, notable actors and actresses featured in the movie among them is Jim Iyke, Omotola Jolade, Jide Kosoko and many more. The movie is an intriguing one starting from the first scene to the last scene, it taught me a lot of lesson firstly, you should learn how to control your temper and you must learn to forgive whosoever that offend you, also learn to heed to warnings no matter who is giving the warning.
It started that there's a particular company in Lagos, whose the owner of the company was pleased with some of the workers due to the progress of the company, and for this reason he bought a plane ticket for all of them (about five of them) to travel to Abuja the federal capital territory of Nigeria to have a get together party including the owner of the company. They had the meeting in the morning and they are traveling the same day, the time on the tickets is 6pm for the plane to take off so they still have time to go home and pick some things because, they will spend three days there .
On the other hand, there was a lady at Abuja that boarded a plane to Lagos just to go and spend the weekend with her fiance, on getting to Lagos at her fiance's place she met another lady there, so she was very angry that she told her fiance to take her back to the airport that same day on getting to the airport she wanted to purchase another ticket that will take her to Abuja but lo and behold all the tickets have been sold out, she was so disappointed and frustrated at the same time but as she is about to leave the place she met a client that promised to help her get a ticket for the last flight, so she waited outside in the car with her fiance expecting the client to call her.
The company staffs that were supposed to travel, out of five of them only three could make it even the owner of the company arrived late, one of those that couldn't make it slept off when he arrived home and by the time he woke up the time was far spent though, he tried to meet up but he was hooked up in a terrible hold up in Lagos while the second person, it was his little daughter that told him not to go that if he go, he won't return and because of that he sold his ticket to the client and the client in turn called the lady and sold the ticket to her and that was how they all started the journey.
As they took off, the owner of the company arrived with some policemen that want to arrest one of the staff because they found his identity card somewhere, but it was too late.
When they are about to reach Ilorin, the plane developed a fault in the air at the end of the day the plane crashed at Ilorin, though all the passenger were rescued except for a man that died in the plane as he was too slow to get out and the plane exploded. The shooting of the film was awesome, it was like real and I love it.
