Creative Sunday Week 079 | made a cover of The Hill by Travis Greene

Hello Hive-Learners. Greetings and compliments of the season to all learners, creatives, members and visitors of the community. Glad y'all made it to the last day of the year, God who brought us this far is gonna make sure we see the very end and the best of the new year in Jesus name... So I'm here with my post for Creative Sunday here in the hive learners community. It's my third time joining in for this and I'd like to make posts in response to the promt topics this week. That is said to be only for verified members, if you have any info on something I've gotta do first please do let me know in the comments.

So I've seen preparation steps for many a mouth watering dish today. We seem to have many friends who are quite creative in the kitchen. I however have brought a song cover, music is what I do and love and I'm glad to share with you... I have made a cover of the song The Hill by American singer-songwriter Travis Greene. It's one of his songs released in 2017, many of which I love, and is also the title of his album from that year.

The song talks about trusting in God, making reference to the crucifixion of Jesus the Christ and it's significance. Well it's a few hours to 2024 here and a lot of folks are making new year resolutions, I guess mine include looking to hill from where comes my help... I recorded the cover with backing track with the Starmaker app and edited using Inshot all on my Samsung galaxy A50 phone. I enjoyed singing and hope you enjoy listening to this. Here's some lyrics below and a link for more.

Lyrics

Trouble has found me
Pressure is crowding
People doubting
But I gotta keep looking up
Ground is shaking
Walls are breaking
And my heart is racing
But I gotta keep looking up

Some will trust in horses and chariots
But I will look to the hills and I will not fear
Some may say that they found another way
But my heart's on you and I will not move

On the hill there's a cross
On the cross there is blood for me for me
