Public transport helps in exploring every corner.

The development of human civilization is thoroughly depends upon the quality of infrastructure they availed. From hospitals, to schools, to other services it is the duty of government to provide all basic facilities to every human being. Infrastructure is a basic necessity for people because it enables economic development, communication, and access to basic needs. Without infrastructure, access to clean drinking water, food, health care, communications systems, and housing would not be possible. Infrastructure also plays a vital role in improving the standard of living for communities and reducing poverty levels. Still many places are reeling in the absence of these. My village is is one of them, which lacks a proper Public Transport System.

Post independence in 1947 and after so many technological development around different places, our village too has now blessed with proper #Roads (since 9 years), #Electricity (since 7 years), #Hospital (inaugurated few weeks ago), #Water tank (work in progress) We have now most of the Infrastructure set up in the vicinity and we did observe a change of lifestyle among many poor family. It took decades for these basic facilities to reach to our place. Still, we are lacking behind in a proper Public transport system. In our village, there is no conveyance option available in my area.

Need of basic Infrastructure.

Public Transportation system is a basic infrastructure that is essential for people, businesses, the environment, and the economy. It allows people to move around, access essential services, and interact with the world. Public transport brings far remote areas closer to cities ad town. Public Transportation can also help to:

Create jobs : By expanding job search areas and reducing commute times, transportation can help people find jobs.

Improve economic growth : Transportation can encourage businesses to locate near each other, which can increase productivity and performance. It can also help to coordinate work across different sectors of the economy.

Improve quality of life : Transportation can help people access healthcare and medical facilities, which can improve quality of life in rural areas. For example, a 2000 study in Copenhagen, Denmark found that people who biked to work had a 40% lower risk of mortality than those who didn't.

Reduce costs : By increasing the availability of supplies, transportation can reduce their cost, which can benefit consumers.

Resolve emergencies :Transportation can help to resolve emergencies quickly

At times, when people enjoys so many mode of transport, our village is still struggle to find a proper transport services. It has been since ages, that we do not have any connectivity to our village. There were few private owners running their autos and private vehicles, but that too on a hefty price charges. There is one particular private bus services that connevts to the main town. But it always began at early morning hours. Those who can board it are succesful and those who unable to take, will have to wait for some ride.

Lifts help survive.

In the absence of Public transport, sometimes people relies on multiple ride I.e lift services. It happen to me on many ocassion that i took multiple "lifts" to reach hone. To cover 15 km of long distance there is no transport connevtivity. From tractor, to bikes to cart. Made sure we need to cover the distance.
The other option is to have own vehicles. But you cannot take it everywhere. Like in my case, i deboarded the #train and waited for long hours for some conveyance. And lastly, I took help of the "lifts". I cannot take my vehicle to train or other far off places. People in my area have been living like this since ages. Earlier they used to cover via foot or block cart. Now they make use of own vehicle and sometimes depends on others for covering their distance. Mind it our main market too is is 15 km. So people who have shops in villages adds extra penny for the goods as a travelling cost.

I wish I could have this Public transport services available at my villages at regular interval during the day to ward off the Public outcry. Just imagine in middle of afternoon or late at night we have no proper source of conveyance. Living life like that is always challenging. Thanks to some 4 wheelers in the village we take help of them I'm emergency but have to pay kuch more than what it actually cost.

Peace!!
