My experience on being scammed is way back as when 2go was still reigning and rampant I don't remember the year actually but I guess it will be around 8 years ago or more.
You remember those 2go years 😂😂 when we strive to increase our star, almost everyone was so eager to reach a particular star or the other.
If you got to a particular level you would want to upgrade your star to another level, the struggle continues till you reach the highest star on the platform.
I use to be online almost 24 hours in a day whether I'm chatting or not all because I want to increase my star. It was so funny to me now that am older but then I took it very serious.😃
I was doing the same process everyday, I could not do without being online in a day, even if we don't have electricity supply at home I will find all means to charge my phone.
I could remember vividly that I was in the Enthusiast stage when a guy messaged me that he could help me upgrade my star. He was already in the last stage so, that made it very easy for him to penetrate my defense.
As a desperate user that was so anxious to have his star increased, I fell for his trap easily.
He even told me that he had just few slot that it would only help the fastest fingers. This also made me co-operate ASAP.
He then asked for my username and password, I gave him without hesitating... He told me to logout so he can work on my account then... BOOM🔥 the rest was history.
That was the last time I was able to access my account.
Then I began to come to my senses, I was like have I been scammed? or it's the network? (story for the gods) my account is gone. I felt like crying, to make matters worst, I can't message him, no medium to reach him directly, the only means was to contact my friends and explain the situation of things to them so they could also plead on my behalf. After so many pleading he later agreed to free my account but asked that I send him recharge card of at least #200 (200naira). Lol... it's so small right? 😃 That was what he asked oo...
So I did, then he released my account.
Since then I learnt my lessons to be very careful of letting out my information to a third party, no matter how real you can be. And since then, have not had any case of scam whatsoever, maybe because have been extra careful.
In conclusion, scamming is evil please don't subscribe to it. Let's also be very careful of scammers. BEWARE!
