A lot of us have something we are heavy on. Some are heavy dresses, outings and all of those. At the same time, some people are very heavy on privacy. You never get to see what they are doing in public. You can’t even tell a bit of their lives until they tell you what’s going on with them. I feel this is how things are supposed to be because a lot of people always want to know what’s going on in your life just to harm you or maybe get jealous of you.
I am a very private person, but I have limits to whatever I do and that is why I have family members who I can trust. It’s a very great blessing to have a family that is united and that you can tell everything going on with you because there are some family members who are not like that.
It is not bad to be private, but you need to have a few people in your life who you trust so that they can always come through for you or know a lot of things about you if not all. No matter how private you can be you should have at least one of your family members because family is everything and I don’t think there are friends who we can trust but God bless some people with good friends that even do as much as family do for their friends. They can help you when you are in danger. Imagine you traveling by road and you got kidnapped and you were asked to call the closest person to you. If you call people you do not call normally, they may not get to pick your call because they may be wondering why you called them but if you have someone who knows every damn thing about you, you’ll be able to call the person she will pick up so quick. There are so many people here on Hive who are no longer active and we have not heard anything about them for a while. If they really had a family member or someone whom they trust very well, the person must have found a way to get to us on this platform to tell us the person is late or whatever happened to the person. For me, I trust my siblings so much so they know a lot of things about me. They do not know my Hive password or Keyphrase but they know I wrote it down somewhere and that’s in case of emergency. I’m a baby on this platform but if anything bad happens to my enemy tomorrow, a family member can decide to take up this account and run it.
My mother is my father’s next of kin. We know what he is worth. We know how much he’d be getting as his pension salary when he retires. We all know his passwords. If we do not know all of these things, if we lose his enemy tomorrow, we all are going to suffer because our father has money or properties somewhere but we don’t know.
You can decide to live a private life but there should be limits to everything. It’s not a must to trust your family members because there are some families that are divided but I’m glad mine is not like that.
Live privately so people won’t get to know what’s up with you or get to harm you and at the same time, be open to some important people in your life.
