My purpose in life is for God to be pleased with me and also for humanity to be pleased with me. In between the two lies my comfortability.

The assumed purpose of the existence of every individual can vary. Many people may take it that their purpose of living is to make money and affect lives. The question that follows is: How is the money being made? Is the process approved by God and humanity? Or is it a case of sponsoring one's ambition with bad inputs? My purpose is to live this life without leaving a bad footprint when I die.

I believe that I need to empower myself in order to serve my purpose to humanity better. As a result of this, I try as much as I can to search for the road that leads to prosperity. This is necessary but not mandatory for one before contributing his or her quota to the advancement of humanity. This conviction makes me not to be desperate about my pursuit of what I considered my purpose of existence.

God has created us to be in the dark about our future. We can only predict what tomorrow will be like and are not certain about it. When you put your contribution to the betterment of the world as your purpose of existence, it makes you navigate through many roads successfully before discovering yourself and what you are meant to do to advance humanity. I have read about someone who spent almost twenty years in a profession without finding his feet. It took him just a few years to find his feet when he found his rightful profession. In Nigeria, I know of musicians who studied professions like law, medicine, and others before dumping the certificate and embracing music. They became renowned in the music industry. They serve God and serve humanity through their art. They became agents of unity and hope for the people. I see this as the manifestation of the purpose of their existence.

Many people are on paths that they are not meant to be. The path that will not lead to the actualization of their purpose. However, at a point or another, they will find the path that leads them to fulfilling their life purpose.

Moving forward, I can categorize my purpose into two: primary and secondary. The primary purpose of my life is to do things the way they position me as an asset and not a liability to humanity. Whether rich or poor, my condition shouldn't push me to disrespect God's instructions and what humanity demands from me. To keep it simple, my primary purpose is to serve God and keep his commandments.

The secondary purpose is to keep striving to discover my path to prosperity. I love to make money and live the dream life that I wanted. It is for this reason that I felt that I haven't achieved my secondary purpose of existence if my dream remains unmet. I need to keep working hard to actualize my secondary purpose. Once this is achieved, I am fulfilled.

In conclusion, making money is not the end of the process. It is the path of the process. If money is not involved in the equation, there are many other ways to contribute to the growth of humanity. This is the real purpose of my existence. I want good things to be said about me when I am no more. Living an awesome life is a secret, and in public to please God and humanity is my utmost goal.
