Celebrating 100 weeks of Featured Contest

Greetings everyone!
Happy new week!

First of all, the Weekly featured contest in the Hive Learners community has been one of the contests I find so easy-going. I hardly go a day without writing, and this community's prompts have been one strong foundation that has made me achieve that. The prompts come in handy, and even the ones that prove difficult to do, the motivation (upvotes) always encourages me, putting my head to work and coming up with something.

Like I usually tell people, especially the newbies struggling to write, "Even if you can't keep up a daily streak, why can't you just stick to Hive Learners' prompts and see the magic" 😅

This morning, we hit the 100 weeks of this nice prompt, and it's time to reminisce on the good, bad, and the ugly.

The prompt that got me emotional

While preparing for Christmas in 2022, we were told to write about our best Christmas season and compare it with what it was at that particular time.
The prompt took me back to the days when one of my uncles who lived in Port Harcourt was alive. He was the only uncle my family was close to, and we had the privilege to have the "city people" celebrations whenever they(him and his family) came for Christmas.
The thing is that, all of us lived in the same compound before they relocated to Port Harcourt, and whenever they come, the bond remain the same.

Whenever it was Christmas time, we (every member of my family) were always sure of various gifts from them. Do you know what that means?

But in 2020, this uncle died of sickness, and ever since then, we've only tried to match up to those Christmas seasons, but none has been like them.

Yeah, that prompt took me back.

The most difficult prompt

I won't lie; I had a fair share of these prompts, and my brain was tensed coming up with something.
Those prompts looked like exam questions.

I went back scrolling, and this is the only one I found with ease. "Regretful experience with a promise promise" was one topic, although it looked simple, it gave me a tough time trying to put up.

When I saw the prompt in Discord, the only thought that blocked my mind was when I couldn't keep a promise I made to a lady. Each time I think of it, I feel this regret.
I thought of many things to write so I could skip the idea, but nothing came out. After much contemplation, I finally surrendered, wrote it, and felt the guilt again. I thank God it was only one lady that read and was kind enough with her words (comment).

The most easy prompts

Again, just like I said in the first paragraph of this article, Hive Learners' prompts are the easiest for me; I find them so handy.
Among all the prompts I had participated, I would say I found 98% of them easy. It's hard for me to pick one as the easiest because even this particular article looked so easy...just a little ponder on the past and typing it out.

Thank you for reading.
