One of the supremacy of the law in the constitution of Ghana 1992 is "The freedom of movement without any restrictions or infringement" by anyone. I think we all have our Liberty to do things that our hearts desire or feel in as much as we own our lives and no one should claim it by any means. It's the same way that no matter the background, tribes or political affiliation so our movement should be denied. I feel that by law of justice every individual should be allowed to move or travel to every place without restrictions.

This is either the opposite of the prevailing life we are in today. One of the challenges we face as Ghanaian is traveling difficulties when it comes to traveling Abroad or outside our country. To get the passport, Visa card or plane tickets are some of the challenges we go through as a Country. This problem has existed for long time and we aren't getting antidote to the situation. We have built a system of allowing middlemen; what we called "Connection men" to operate alongside with the Agents of Immigration workers. Some of these Connection men are scammers who collect huge sum of Money from people but would never fulfill their job of getting genuine visa for the travellers. At long round the money is squandered and the travellers would be at disadvantage.

Currently, there are many people who have prepared to study Abroad and some having the mission to seek for job opportunities and others too wishing to go on holidays. But the various Boarders are closed now for people to travel. Only few people had a slim chance to travel, and even those were people who passed through a lot of hard interviews and authenticity of documents validity before they were allowed.

This year for instance there were chance for Nurses and Teachers to come to UK to further their studies and for some for job opportunities. Even as this vacancy is opened, a lot of people are struggling to break through due to high charges of funds as high as $16,949.15 that's equivalent to Gh¢200,000.00. That's indeed huge money to get that huge amount of Ghanaian cedis as Visa, plane ticket and all documentation. When we even quantify this huge amount of money and compare to the amount of our annual salary it would take A Teacher not less than 4 years to accumulate $200,000. This is due to the scarcity of travelling. So indirectly, it means that there is a limit of people that are allowed to move outside the Country. If the documentation processes for traveling is high it means it would discourage many people too from traveling outside this Country.

However I see more benefits that many people would get if the Boarders for traveling to various Countries are opened. One of these benefits is supporting many people to broaden their knowledge through studying Abroad. For instance, Ghana as a developing Country lacks many equipment for promoting the studying of science courses, such as surgical equipment, opthalmology machines and many engineering machines. So we always lack behind when it comes to Practical studies. I believe opening the Boarders to allow Students in these fields to study In Uk, Canada, India and other parts of the World is a good ways of expansion of Our education as well as promoting Sciences.

Recently, we were crying of the increase depreciating the Ghanaian cedis as high as 40% increase. Before the increase of the Dollar rate relative to the Ghanaian cedis. The Cedis was around Gh¢8.00 to $1.00. But now $1 is around Gh¢12.00. So we ask what is happening with this hike of the Dollar rate? This is the fact that there are fewer Ghanaians trading with the Dollar. Among these people who are trading with the Dollar are the few Business men who have been importing goods into Ghana. They use Ghanaian cedis in exchange for the Dollar so that they can buy the goods at the World market. What if the Boarders are open with many people who are going to Canada, UK, USA, Australia, Norway,Spain, Italy, Germany and other countries we can think off. More people going to these places would be having their money exchange to Dollars for visa and plane tickets. So they would be more Dollars in circulation in Ghana which would help a lot.

To every places where there are a lot of opportunities, you would find many people struggling to grasp. And this sometimes would cause something like competition of who would serve first and that kind of thing. I am sure it's part of human life if more Freedom are given for people to have free Boarder opened to everyone, the bad people would also have the opportunity to go and there would be rampant criminals trooping in various Countries. There would use that opportunity as weak point to trade drugs which by law is unacceptable. There would be many attackers of some groups as we are all aware. So, on this instance I would say that Boarders shouldn't be open free in order for every Country to protect themselves from bad people.
