We all know that whenever there exist advantages of something, there remain disadvantages of that thing. We can say both advantages and disadvantages exist at the same time. This technology in the study has both advantages and disadvantages. I am explaining them one by one.
Advantages of technology on study

In this digital world whenever we become confused about anything we search for it in google and we think google can provide us with all the answers to our questions. We have Wikipedia which helps us very much also. Besides, we have youtube also which can help us to learn lessons and clear our confusion by watching videos available on Youtube. For that reason, some people say that Youtube is the teacher of your teachers.
Availability and easy access
Modern technology made everything easier for us. With the help of the internet, we can find important books and documents which could be hard to find in the real life and it gives us to access those books and documents which makes everything easier for us. And we can get that information so easily within a short time that it helps us to save time.
Freedom of place
Before the development of modern technology education was like a thing that should be done on the table. But that is not true for the current time because by using smartphones, laptops, and other devices we can continue our study in any kind of place. It doesn't matter if we are on a bus or airplane.
Research facility
With the help of the internet, we can gain knowledge about that topic which we wanna research. In the earlier time, the research result of other researchers was hard to gain. And after the death of those researchers, the result of their research disappeared or was lost from the world because nobody was able to know about it. But at the current time, researchers publish their research results in various kinds of journals and those data remain there after their death also and a new researcher can start to develop that research from that place.
Disadvantages of technology on study
Distraction from study
For study purposes, we need various kinds of devices such as Laptops, and smartphones. But many students get addicted to using those devices because they can play games and watch movies and that results in a distraction from study. Using those devices for a long time waste a lot of time.
Unable to understand well
During the lockdown period, most of us became used to online classes where teachers tried to teach us in online. But most students were unable to understand the lesson well. Most of the students agreed that the class with physical appearance is much better than online class and easy to understand.
In the case of technology in the study, there exist both advantages and disadvantages. If we avoid technology we may remain backdated and that's not good but we can make proper use of it. It's we who decide whether take the advantages or disadvantages. So I think in this modern world we need technology for our studies but at the same time, we should need to be careful about the disadvantages.
