What I have learned so far
Three months ago I did a similar task, where I learned about the different keys in Hive, what each one is for, and where to find them. But this task is more complete, as it includes information on how to recover an account lost for any reason.
The following month I published "Hive keys don't work!!", recounting my failed experiences with Hivesigner and Hive Keychain, and how I managed to get my private keys from Hive for the first time.
Even though I already know where to find my Hive keys, by installing Hivesigner and Hive Keychain on other computers and mobile, I found myself needing to keep copies where I can easily find them when I need them.

Hace tres meses hice una tarea similar, donde aprendi sobre las diferentes llaves en Hive, para que sirve cada una, y donde encontrarlas. Pero esta tarea es mas completa, porque incluye la informacion de como recuperar una cuenta perdida por cualquier razon.
Al siguiente mes publique "Las llaves de Hive no funcionan!!", relatando mis experiencias fallidas con Hivesigner y Hive Keychain, y de como logre obtener por primera vez mis llaves privadas de Hive.
Aunque ya se donde encontrar mis llaves Hive, al instalar Hivesigner y Hive Keychain en otras computadoras y el celular, me vi en la necesidad de guardar copias donde pueda encontrarlas con facilidad cuando las necesite.
How do I keep my Web3 security?
As I told you in my personal introduction, I am 62 years old and have a master's degree in information technology. I'm a robots' technician and workflow programmer, and I keep falling for scams that I couldn't prevent. Therefore, I know that more important than securing my account is not making a large investment, no matter how secure it may seem.
The security of my Web3 consists of having a couple of copies of my keys outside of Hive. The first copy is in a file that moves with me, such as a pen drive, and the second copy in an online archive, where I can go if I lose the mobile copy. In any case, I know from experience that ππ₯ ππ€ πππ€πππ£ π₯π ππ π§πππ₯πππ€ π π π€ππππ€ by voluntarily handing over our savings. I was victim of the following scam...
The most expensive scam was a membership of more than a thousand dollars (in an international company with a presence that I verified in several countries) that offered excellent discounts on what I wanted to buy. Thinking of larger purchases, I was sure that I would recover the investment in a short time. But the company disappeared in a few weeks, with no trace of where to make a claim.
The most recent scam involved a couple of cryptocurrency investment firms, one recommended by a retired police detective who constantly commutes from Madrid to Miami. And the other by an internationally famous investigative journalist. Both leaders had all their savings invested for several months, and they were very happy with the profits they received. Suddenly the companies went bankrupt, and the money invested could not be recovered.

Como les dije en mi presentacion personal, tengo 62 aΓ±os y una maestria en tecnologias de la informacion. Soy tecnico de robots y programador de flujos de trabajo, y sigo cayendo en estafas que no he podido prevenir. Por lo tanto, se que mas importante que asegurar mi cuenta, es no hacer una gran inversion, por mas segura que parezca.
La seguridad de mi Web3 consiste en tener un par de copias de mis llaves, afuera de Hive. La primera copia es en un archivo que se mueve conmigo, como podria ser en un pen drive. La otra copia en un archivo online, al que pueda ir si pierdo la copia mobil. En todo caso, por experiencia se que ππ€ πππ€ πππππ π€ππ£ π§πππ₯ππππ€ ππ ππ€π₯ππππ€, entregando voluntariamente lo que guardamos. Yo fui victima de las siguientes estafas...
La estafa mas costosa fue una membresia de mas de mil dolares, en una empresa internacional con presencia que pude verificar en varios paises, y que ofrecia excelentes descuentos en lo que quisiera comprar. Pensando en compras mayores, estaba seguro que recuperaria la inversion en poco tiempo. Pero la empresa desaparecio en pocas semanas, sin rastros de donde reclamar.
La estafa mas reciente fue un par de empresas de inversion en criptomonedas, una recomendada por un detective policia retirado que siempre esta viajando de Madrid a Miami, y la otra por un periodista investigador de fama internacional. Ambos lideres tenian todos sus ahorros invertidos por varios meses, y estaban muy contentos con las ganancias que recibian. De pronto las empresas quebraron, y los dineros invertidos no se pueden recuperar.
How could I recover if needed?
An oft-repeated warning on Web3 is that keys (also called keywords or passwords) cannot be recovered if lost. But apparently, this is no longer a limitation in Hive, thru the use of a trustee or recovery account.
I remember that I spent a month and a half in Hive, before worrying about where or how to find and use the keys. I was a casual visitor, just learning how to use it. It took time for me to understand how it works, and to appreciate it enough to motivate myself to post and be in a study group doing assignments like this.
In my post "Hive keys don't work!!" I explain how I came to use the key I received in Ecency, to discover/import/reveal the private keys in Hive. I figured it out when I realized that it was through Ecency that I automatically created my Hive account.
Whether for those who can't figure out how to discover/import/reveal their Hive keys or lose them, or their keys stop working, the recovery account offers a good alternative. The process indicated in the tutorial looks easy to follow, but I don't dare to try it. I don't want to bother my trustee, but it helps me to know and follow him.

ΒΏCΓ³mo podrΓa recuperarme si fuera necesario?
Una advertencia muy repetida en la Web3 es que las claves (tambien llamadas llaves o passwords) no pueden ser recuperadas si se pierden. Pero al parecer esto ya no es una limitacion en Hive, por medio de una cuenta de recuperacion.
Recuerdo que estuve mes y medio en Hive, antes de preocuparme por donde o como encontrar y usar las llaves. Era un visitante casual, recien aprendiendo a usarla. Me tomo tiempo entender como funciona, y apreciarla lo suficiente como para motivarme a hacer publicaciones y estar en un grupo de estudio haciendo tareas como esta.
En mi publicacion "Las llaves de Hive no funcionan!!" explico como llegue a usar la llave que recibi en Ecency, para descubrir/importar/revelar las llaves privadas en Hive. Lo deduje al darme cuenta de que fue por medio de Ecency que automaticamente inicie mi cuenta en Hive.
Ya sea para quienes no encuentren como descubrir/importar/revelar sus llaves en Hive, o las pierdan, o sus llaves dejen de funcionar, la cuenta de recuperacion ofrece una buena alternativa. El proceso indicado en el tutorial se ve facil de seguir, pero no me atrevo a hacer la prueba. No quiero molestar a mi trustee, pero si me sirve para conocerlo y seguirlo.
