VIDEO APOLOGY MY PERSPECTIVE.

When I stumbled on the theme for this week, I was almost discouraged because how and what am I going to write on?
Kudos to the management for all efforts to ensure quick delivery of engagement on this platform.
Its the last day in the beautiful month of April and i count it a privilege to be part of engagers.

I had to think very well because I never expected the topic this way however I must say this is a trendy thing in today's world. People can do everything and anything for in the peace and tranquility. People tend to believe everything virtually.

what's video apology?

This is a recorded video which contains message of apology either by an individual or organization expressing how remorse or regret for a particular wrong or offences. A video apology is a recorded message which shows how sorry an individual is over a particular action or behavior. It's also a way to take responsibility for an action.
Video apologies is an instrument used today to correct wrongs or make amends in order to regain lost confidence or trust even though it has been disabused in the present world.

The vital thing that supposed to be contained in a video apology is being sincere but is it possible to be sincere in a video tthat you are sorry for something??? Showing remorse and heartfelt over a thing. Secondly being empathy and thirdly is to take responsibility to bear what might be the consequences.

Some general perspective of video apology in today's world.

• It could help to build relationships via reconciliation. The expression on the video could make someone watching to be remorse. Video apology creates an emotional connection with the people watching or audience which makes them to feel the impulse of how an individual drops the apology.
• Facial presentation or body language of the person also changes atmosphere. Sometimes even the voice tone can communicate how remorse an individual is. Most at times my oldest son once has committed a wrong, he would change his voice and apologize to me.
• Virtual apology is also deceptive because it would add personal touch so that the apology would be so emotional and heartfelt and look as if it's real.

Are these general perspectives true?

• Many video apologies today are created false fully. No genuine intentions Rather is just to make the audience feel as if it's true. Genuine apology emanates from the bottom of one's heart and not just casual display on screen. There was a man that published a video making apology how he treated his family. He was even shedding crocodile tears hmmm at the end it was all pseudo and calculated attempt to extort resources from the people.

My perspective

Haven made an attempt to share some insight into the subject of contention, i would like to say that video apology shouldn't hold weight because many people used it for their selfish gains. They don't really meant what they say in the video. Imagine someone that killed somebody coming on different social media platforms making just statements to play with people's emotions.
There are lots of cooked fake stories today that goes on online. People shouldn't fall victims of this kind of individual. A punishable offence and you came to social media asking for apology how would this thing be? You're guilty of something but you produced a video showing how innocent you are.

CONCLUSION

video apology can be very deceptive. The challenge i have with the present generation is that they like to copy most at times what they watch. It's not longer apology but just a mere drama to jeopardize people's emotions.

If you are truly sorry over a wrong then you need to be broken, remorse and seek for forgiveness not necessarily showing the whole world on video. Some people just like portraying what they are not. Apologize while i can see you physically don't go on video and tell me you are sorry.
