EARLY CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT CAN'T BE AUTOMATED.

The impact of technology in the present life can't be overemphasized. In virtually all areas of life's endeavors, AI has really taken over most of the areas of life. Technology has lots of benefits to humans which includes the following;

• It makes work to be done with eased. What ordinarily would take a complete day or plenty of hours to be achieved has been subsidized to the nearest possible time. Looking at the present economic challenges that has revenge virtually everywhere, most organizations had to downsize their staff in order to cushion the present that has been befallen the nation. If not because of automation imagine what would have happened to the gross expenses that would be attained? Hmmm I remembered even a construction company that was doing a work around my side also deployed mostly heavy machines that could do most the work. Within a short period of time, the whole work was accomplished. This is absolutely the imprint of automation.
• Automation has also gained relevance even in the Educational section even though it can't be said to be 100% because not everything can be automated. I know most of the instructional materials have really improved learning. Like my kids right from when they were tender I started playing beautiful poems, phonics and many other things even though it wasn't completely effective because AI could not monitored child's learning process. The availability of computers, magnetic or white board, flip chart etc has really brought a quantum shift to Educational development today.

Despite the apparent effect of AI on humans yet there are crucial areas where it shouldn't be automated as far as I am concerned. This one area I considered very significant is the early development of a child. It's believed that child's brain is a clean slate. This means the child's Brian at birth is empty, clean, white and has no installation of anything yet. At this process, we can't just count on AI to show the care, and parental role that is expected to the child.

It's important in a child's developmental stage that the parents must be deliberately do their part of the work to ensure that all the affection and love the child's need is properly communicated to him. Can you just imagine a baby being nurtured by AI? Can an AI breastfeed a baby? Even if it does, psychologically it will affect the child therefore it shouldn't be encouraged. Can AI cuddle a baby to sleep and take care of the when crying? No matter the film or video displayed for the child to watch, it can't just instill the requisite virtues into such child's life.

Early child's life is a formative period or what I regard as foundation where if it's not properly laid, it affects the child completely. Sometimes the child's brain would be porous and lack good development because the parental care is actually missing and the end the child might end up behaving in a negative way. I strongly discourage the automation of child's early development. I am blessed with two children and as I father, I ensure that I am always available for them to show love and care. AI can't depicts emotion, it can't respond to the the child's basic emotional need because everything is a product of programmed activity. Whatever you garbage in is the exact thing you will receive at the end.
