Have you ever heard that a human being without goals is a human being without a soul? Something similar happens when we have idols and references in our lives. They inspire us and help us form our identity, even if some of these passions don't last forever.
When I was a teenager, I remember that a childhood friend was very fond of the musical group Backstreet Boys. Whenever I arrived at his house, he was listening to their music. At the time, the song that was the biggest hit was Everybody.
He was so obsessed with this band that he bought lots of things like clothes, backpacks, cards, magazines, original CDs and DVDs. He even made his family's life hell to get a tattoo of the band. And he succeeded: he got a huge tattoo that covered his entire forearm.
He was one of those people who researched the lives of the band members and followed the world of celebrity gossip. He was totally in tune with his idol. But would the Blackstreet Boys, if they knew of this fan's existence, have taken any notice of him?
Time passed and he regretted getting that huge tattoo on his forearm, as he no longer liked the Blackstreet Boys that much. In its place he put the name of his mother who had passed away.
I've always been a person who never sought to idolize or know the life of any of the artists or celebrities I liked. In my mind, they don't even know I exist and they're already rich, so they don't need me.
However, as I mentioned at the beginning of this post, they are important in forming a person's identity. It's the same as someone wanting to be a doctor because their uncle is a doctor and they think the gift of saving other people is beautiful. Perhaps this is a healthy way of trying to emulate other people, whom you have as a reference in your life.
Everything on earth is fleeting, fashions come and go. That's why we shouldn't set our hearts on celebrities who don't even know we exist. The only celebrity who knows of our existence and died in love for our soul is JESUS, and we should only worship him and investigate his life, which is the model to be followed by all of us here on Earth.
Jesus is the only model to be followed, who will never go out of fashion. He is our intermediary for talking to God. He is the only one capable of transforming lives in unimaginable ways. Have you ever seen a famous celebrity manage to lift a sinking individual out of the world of darkness? Or turn a person with no prospects into a successful and happy person?
The lives of those who follow Jesus are transformed. He is the only model to be followed and worshipped. If there was one celebrity I'd like to talk to all day, it would be Jesus. To investigate your life, just read the Bible and all of Jesus' secrets will be revealed.

Você já ouviu falar que um ser humano sem objetivos é um ser humano sem alma? Algo similar acontece em temos ídolos e referências em nossas vidas. Pois, eles nos inspiram e nos ajudam a formar nossa identidade, mesmo que algumas dessas paixões não durem para sempre.
Quando adolescente lembro que um amigo de infância gostava muito do grupo musical Backstreet Boys. Sempre que chegava na casa dele ele estava a escutando as música desse grupo. Eu também gostava na epoca a música que fazia maior sucesso era Everybody.
Ele era tão obsecado nessa banda que comprava várias coisas como roupas, mochila, cardeno, revistas, CD's e DVD's originais. Até chegou a infernizar a vida da família para fazer um tatuagem da banda. E conseguiu ele fez um grande tatuagem que pecorreu todo seu antebraço.
Ele era daquelas pessoas que pesquisa sobre a vida dos integrantes da banda e acompanhava o mundo da fofoca dos famosos. Ele estava em plena sintonia com seu idolo. Mas, será que os Backstreet Boys caso sobessem da existencia desse fã daria alguma importância a ele?
O tempo passou e ele se arrependeu de ter feito essa tatuagem enorme em seu antebraço, pois ele já não gostava tanto assim dos Backstreet Boys. No lugar dessa tatuagem ele pôs o nome de sua mãe que havia falecido.
Eu sempre fui uma pessoa que nunca busquei idolatrar e saber a vida de nenhum dos artista e celebridades que eu gostava. Na minha cabeça eles nem sabem que eu existo e eles já estão rico, então não precisa de mim.
Porém, como mencionei no inicio deste post eles são importantes para formar a identidade de uma pessoa. É o mesmo que uma pessoa querer ser médico porque seu tio é médico e essa pessoa acha bonito o dom de salva outras pessoas. Talvez essa seja uma maneira saudável de tentar imitar outras pessoas, que você tem como referência em sua vida.
Tudo na terra é passageiro, moda vem e vão. E por isso, não devemos colocar nosso coração em celebridade, que nem sabem da nossa existência. A única celebridade que sabe da nossa existência e morreu em amor a nossa alma é JESUS, e somente a este devemos adorar e investigar sua vida que é o modelo a ser seguido por todos nós aqui na Terra.
Jesus é o único modelo a ser seguido, que não sairá de moda. Ele é nosso intermediador para conversar com Deus. Ele é o único capaz de transformar vidas de maneira inimaginável. Você já presenciou uma celebridade famosa conseguir tirar um individuo que está afundado do mundo das dogras? Ou transformar uma pessoa sem perspectivas de vida em uma pessoa sucedida e feliz?
A vida daqueles que seguem a Jesus é transformada. Ele é o único modelo a ser seguido e adorado. Se tivesse uma celebridade que gostaria de passar o dia conversando seria Jesus. Para investigar sua vida é somente necessário ler a Bíblia e todos os segredos de Jesus serão revelados.
