Ways to reduce our screen time and let go of our phone addiction

We humans are now addicted to our phones and laptops because they have most of the things we will ever need in the offline world. The worst part is some people even operate their phones when charging it and we all know the danger that comes with this act but doesn't look like they care.*

The best part of being addicted to our screen is that we can earn money by making use of our phones and this is why more people have so much interest in their phones, there is time to play and there is time to have fun, After working all day on the phone and we decide to have fun, it is still the same phone that is the source of the fun we want to have.

Our phones make us happy through a lot of games on them and if you are not a fan of games, you can play music and even watch films on it, there are many interesting films that if we spend 18 hours daily watching them, we still won't be able to watch all within 10 years, I am not exaggerating.

If you want to have a fun conversation with your long-distance partner, it is still the same phone you will use, so phones are now our best companions and they are hard to do without.

There was a time when I spent all day on my phone and laptop, I even multitasked while at it, It was either watching reels on Facebook with my mobile, chatting on WhatsApp, listening to music, or streaming movies on Netflix while focusing on Discord, hive.blog, and other money-making sites with my laptop, there was barely time for me to even socialize offline and I did not miss that life because I was having the fun of my life with my gadget and making money too....

The only time I take my eyes off the screen is when I want to eat or sleep.

Everything changed last year when I gained admission into a higher institution, I could not keep up with being online all the time anymore, at least the time from 5pm to 9 pm is my school time and it was also my time away from my Keyboard.

As time went on, I started getting used to staying away from my screen for hours and I only came online when I wanted to do my daily tasks and it has been fantastic.

There are many ways to reduce your screen time even if you are addicted to it.

Set a time for work and other task:: Nowadays, sometimes I do not come online till 12 in the afternoon and I have fixed my work to the day and night period so you would hardly see me online in the morning but if it is hard for you to time yourself and fulfill it, then there is another way which is below.

Register for a gym class: This takes like 2 to 3 hours of your time which can keep you away from your phone that is if you are serious about it, not talking about people who go to the gym for the sake of pictures, I have been going to the gym 3 times in a week now and those moment in the gym, I am always not with my phone until I finish the gym session
