Shout out to my fellow comrade that doesn't read until the morning of examination, at the end, 80 percent of what we read that morning doesn't come out and the 3 percent that comes out, we do have problem remembering most of the thing we read about it...😁
It only makes one thing obvious, reading few hours before exam is a really bad idea and whatever we assimilate in also evaporate immediately, i guess that is because of the tension that comes with the exam...
Most time it is things that are already stuck in my brain, like what the teacher taught us in class that never leaves my brain and the group reading with classmate that becomes so useful during the examination....
Reading in the midnight is one of the best method but i don't like depriving myself of sleep and i don't want a situation that i will start dozing off in the examination class as well...
Back then in school, i had a group of friends that we do brainstorm together, we do this often without exam, we just love doing it as it helps to enhance our brain and it is also fun to do...
We set a time to read our books and after the time has ended, we start asking each other questions and we normally make fun of those who missed the questions, so we always make sure to be well prepared, no dulling moment at al... Another advantage of mocking those who failed to answer a question is that the answer to that particular question stuck to their brain ...
Some other time, we just open past questions and start answering the questions and check out who got the highest mark...Missed those good old days with my friends
Group reading is very good and helps a lot for those who don't like to read, as it is a source of motivation for them to want to learn and challenge those in their group.....
I could remember we were just 3 that started it and that was me and my two best friends and when others [also friends] saw how fun it was and how we do argue stuffs out, they also became interested in it and finally joined us, we increased to like 10 doing it...
At one point, some left but we still have others joining cos we were like 89 students in the class..... . . . .😊
So this is what help me during exams, because most of what we read and brainstorm about stick to my brain, but not to look like i didn't prepare for the exams, i read few hours to go but all those things i read doesn't follow me into the exam hall.. 🤣
