Effort=Result is not a Balance Equation.

We have all heard people saying that if what to achieve something great in life, you have to be hardworking and put in the required effort to get the required results you want.

I agree that you have to be hardworking to attain some certain height in life, but I think effort is over hyped, because it has failed me so many times. Life can be unfair sometimes, you find yourself working hard than others but they get bigger results than you, it all happens in all aspects of life, even while in school we all know those students that we doubt if they could do well but they ended up becoming the best putting the least effort than others. you work hard but the other person is getting the result you were expecting with least effort and hardwork.

Least effort favored me in school

During my school days I was privileged to always get the best results when I barely work hard, my least effort were always rewarded by good grade, it was just like like an academic grace upon me hahaha...

It all started from when I was in nursery school, I was always in the top three of my class and never went below that. People always saw me as a very intelligent kid, but I am very surprised because I know deep down that I barely read, I play football too much in school and at home.

Even while in secondary school it favoured me also, just attending classes was enough for me, reading was for students who wants to becomes professors or lecturers in the future I always said to myself and it was working for me, my fellow students said I had a diamond brain and my head got big back then.

Although when I got into the college it did not favoured me that much, attending class was not usually enough criteria to help me pass, I was forced to read a little but that was only during exam or test period and that was it, I was also scaling through as usual with my diamond brain lolz.

Effort didn't favour me in other areas of life

Even while I thrived in my academics with least effort, other areas of life never favoured me, I was struggling to meet up.

One of the aspect I found it difficult is learning a handwork skill. I was finding it hard to be good in any skills that involved hand work, no matter how hard I tried it was not working for me I didn't know why. I tried to learn different kinds of skills like cutting of hair, welding, electrical work and other ones but I was getting the same bad results, there was no progress made.

I was growing up and academics was not favouring everyone in the country, my mates were learning skills that was helping and sustaining them, when I wanted to learn mine it was not going well. People was just telling me that my diamond brain only ended in school and did not spread to other areas of life, I agreed with them even when I knew deep down that my academic results was not because of my effort,I never had any interest in academics.

Life does not always reward your efforts in all areas. You have to find the field that you are good at and get the best of it, find that place you put in the least effort and get the best result, instead of wasting efforts in different areas that wouldn't favour you with good results. Effort is not always equal to result in life.
