The Jacarandas

Who doesn't have a love of the gorgeous #Jacaranda trees.
We have a saying at the university here, "If you have not started studying when the trees bloom, its too late..."
As they always come out before exams.
They are always stunning.
Our trip today
So today we went into the Train Museum for a run around and i wanted to get some pretty photos for painting references. I didn't actually manage that many that are super suitable but i did get some pretty tree photos.
Some of the good ones have the kids in them (or other kids too) so i can't really post them here.
This time last year we were up at a wedding with the trees in bloom as well. I'll scount some photos of that day too.

ok so this isn't of the Jacarandas... but it IS of the trip we were on when i took the photos. This was 1/2 way down the mountains. This is one of my little #dailypaintings took about an hour or so.
Feeling pretty tired after a busy day dragging the kids around. (They loved it though) and now to settle in with a wine and post and do online stuff... pay the bills.... somehow... not sure about that bit yet... lol...
