The Dark Side of Organ Trafficking and the Hope of Donation

Well, we all should do such work which will benefit our society. Everyone takes advantage for themself but we should worry about society and this is also necessary. If we do this then perhaps we will be playing the role of a good citizen and a good human being. Many people join many NGOs or volunteer groups without any greed for money and dedicate their whole lives to them. Yes, there are many dropouts for this too. If you are financially sound then it is good for you to do this. If your financial condition is not good then you cannot do this full-time. If you are not getting any funding, if you are raising funds from somewhere then you can do this. But if you are working for an NGO or volunteering somewhere and you are not getting anything for it then not everyone can do this. Well, there are many things through which you can contribute to your society and help people who need help.

Well, people have become very aware and they do a lot of things according to their wishes, which seems a little strange to some people, but gradually people get used to it, for example, organ donation has become a common thing these days because many people themselves agree to donate their organs while taking such insurance. But many people do not do this. Many people have their own religious beliefs and they do not want the bodies of their relatives to be tampered with. Everyone has their own beliefs and thoughts, but I feel that if you are not able to use anyone while you are alive, if after death your body parts are useful for someone else and if any person can be saved by donating the organs of a dead person or a sick person who is no longer in this world, then this should always be done. If the government comes up with such a rule, it will be good. Yes, many people may face this problem because everyone has their own religious and other beliefs and there are no two opinions about it. I feel that perhaps all these things should be optional so that people can get a choice whether they want to donate their body parts or not.

Organ trafficking is a very big business. We often read in the news how people are fooled and their kidneys are stolen and how small children are kidnapped and used for such purposes. It sounds very painful but the reality is that some people have been running this business for many years and have become proficient in all these things. This is also because there is a huge shortage of body parts or should I say some specific organs. If people themselves start donating their body parts after they are dead, then perhaps we can fulfil this shortage and in such a case, perhaps the business of body part trafficking will stop here. Yes, this can happen completely but I feel that if this is possible then we will prove to be successful in doing this to a great extent.

Look, I don't think it is harmful. I feel that if people do it willingly, it is good. But if the government forcefully asks people to do it, then people will probably oppose it. People do do it for some time, but gradually it becomes a habit. We have often seen that whenever the government brings any new rules, people oppose it, but after some time people have to bear it because fighting against the government is not that easy. To be honest, when the government implements any rule or law, they first think a lot about it and only then do they implement it. So don't think that they will just wake up at night and make a plan and then implement it on the people. They must also think about all the pros and cons and only after that things are implemented. So if the government implements such a rule, I think people will oppose it in the beginning but gradually people will start doing this because as long as there is life in a person's body, we feel attachment towards him only, after that believe me, if we feel a little attached, it becomes a curse, I have felt like this many times whenever I have gone to the cremation ground to perform somebody's last rites.

If the government has decided to implement this, then probably some punishment will come in the form of some kind of tax or another thing so that people are forced to do this and I think that if you can be of use to someone even after doing this then it will be your good fortune because not everyone gets such an opportunity. After all, after some time your body parts will start deteriorating anyway and if you can be of use to people in any way then it will be a very good thing, I think so and if you get a chance to do this then you should do it and by doing this you can save the lives of many people.
