Friends, today I will discuss with you about the Hindu wedding ceremony and today's post is going to be excellent. I urge you all to read the entire post and you will definitely enjoy reading this post. I will discuss with you today about the Hindu wedding ceremony in Bangladesh and many people say that the rules of Hindu marriage are much more complicated than the rules of marriage of other religions.
The beginning of marriage is similar to other religions because first a boy's family goes to a girl's family to see a girl. The girl is shown there and if the boy's family likes seeing the girl, they inform the girl's family. Then if the girl's family likes to see the boy, then the girl's family agrees to this marriage. Permission is then obtained from both the boy and the girl, and if both parties agree, the marriage begins.
- Blessings Ceremony
After the boy and girl have consented to the marriage, the boy family goes to the girl's family to bless the girl and the girl family goes to the boy family to bless the boy. They choose a specific day for the blessing and that day becomes this blessing.
- Setting the date of marriage
After the blessing is over, a specific date is chosen for the wedding and the wedding ceremony is celebrated on that date. The date is set to be a happy day.
- Three day wedding ceremony
The Hindu wedding ceremony lasts for three days and the first day of the ceremony is called yellow ceremony. The ceremony that is performed on the second day is called happy marriage. The ceremony performed on the third day is called vermilion donation ceremony.
- Yellow ceremony
On the first day of the marriage, the ceremony of yellow is celebrated in the house of both the boy and the girl and in this ceremony the boy is dressed in yellow Punjabi and the girl is taught yellow sari.
- Happy marriage
On the day after the yellow ceremony, a happy marriage takes place and on this day the boy comes to the bride's house dressed as the groom and the boy is accompanied by his family and relatives and friends. The girl is taught red sari and is decorated with flowers and gold. The boy and girl are then brought to the wedding pavilion and the fire is lit in front of the boy and girl in the wedding pavilion.
- Exchange the garland of flowers
This exchange is held on the second day of the wedding. The bridegroom gives the bride a garland and the bride gives the bridegroom a garland.
- Mantra lessons
When the work of changing the garland is over, the bride and groom have to recite the mantra. A priest starts chanting mantras and groom and bride also have to recite mantras along with that priest.
- Vermilion donation ceremony
On the third day the ceremony of giving vermilion is held and on this day the bridegroom gives vermilion on the head of the bride in front of everyone. Then the wedding ceremony is over.
