I found a black wasp and the back is orange, this is a beautiful combination, I was also mesmerized by its beauty, with a dashing and more handsome appearance.

Sphex lucae is a species of thread-waisted wasp in the family Sphecidae, when I found it flying around my backyard, I immediately tried to photograph it.

In the case of Sphex lucae, the female is black with a red belly, and yellowish or purplish wings. The male is completely black with purple wings. Men also tend to be leaner than their strong partners.

Females make a living by hunting katydids. The prey records include Insara elegans, Elegant Bush Katydid. Wasps dig single-celled burrows in the ground before hunting. He will amputate his prey's antennae (at least occasionally), then evaluate his crippling gift back to the nest and deposit it there, laying one egg on the victim. The nest entrance is then sealed and the process is repeated.
