I haven't been following developments specifically for certain cryptocurrencies lately. There are only two reasons for this. First, the price of all types of crypto is falling and it is not suitable for me who plays long term. I think it's just a waste of time to look at the movement of cryptocurrencies that don't move too far. This is very uneconomical.

Second, I'm busy with super tight deadlines, so I haven't posted too often on various platforms in the last few months. I have to prioritize carefully so as not to spend productive time without any income. Not always money, but there are other things such as strengthening the network, adding friends, increasing knowledge, and various other positive aspects.

Because I didn't follow it in detail, I just found out that Bittorent or BTT had redenominated since January 2022. Finally, there is also a cryptocurrency in my collection that redenominates, a term I previously heard in fiat currencies such as the rupiah (IDR) which has long been talked about being redenominated by three figures. So, Rp1,000 will become Rp1 after redenomination.

BTT on the other hand. After redenomination from BTT to BTTC, the nominal amount will even increase. I was surprised when I saw the number of BTTC was over 33 million. But from the readings of several references, the value still follows the last value, unless it increases significantly in the future.

Well, at Indodax which is the largest exchanger in Indonesia, there was an announcement that on February 14, 2022, there will be the latest developments regarding BTTC assets. I went live with Indodax on February 17, 2022, around 16.00 WIB, he said members were asked to wait for the next announcement. I also asked if there might be an automatic change from BTT or old BTT to BTTC and it was still on the Indodax list, the operator replied that they could not confirm whether there was or not, and again I was asked to wait for the next announcement.

I also asked whether the old BTT assets or later BTTC are still safe in the Indodax wallet, the operator is still safe and will not be lost. At least this answer is a relief.

So, have to be patient waiting for the next announcement. I remember a poster on BTTC's Twitter account that read: BTTC is my future!

BTT Redenominasi, Belum Muncul di Indodax

Saya tidak mengikuti perkembangan secara khusus untuk cryptocurrency tertentu belakangan ini. Hanya ada dua alasan yang menjadi penyebabnya. Pertama, Harga semua jenis crypto sedang anjlok dan itu tidak cocok buat saya yang bermain long term. Saya pikir hanya menghabiskan waktu saja kalau setiap saat melongok pergerakan cryptocurrency yang tidak bergerak terlalu jauh. Ini sangat tidak ekonomis.

Kedua, saya memiliki kesibukan dengan deadline super ketat sehingga tidak terlalu sering membuat postingan di berbagai platform beberapa bulan belakangan ini. Saya harus membuat prioritas dengan cermat agar tidak menghabiskan waktu produktif tanpa ada pemasukan apa pun. Tidak selamanya uang, tetapi ada hal lain seperti penguatan jaringan, penambahan sahabat, bertambah ilmu, dan berbagai aspek positif lainnya.

Karena tidak mengikuti dengan detail, saya baru tahu Bittorent atau BTT sudah melakukan redenominasi sejak Januari 2022 lalu. Akhirnya, cryptocurrency koleksi saya ada juga yang melakukan redenominasi, sebuah istilah yang sebelumnya saya dengar dalam mata uang fiat seperti rupiah (IDR) yang sejak lama diwacanakan akan diredenominasi sebanyak tiga angka. Jadi, Rp1.000 nanti akan jadi Rp1 setelah redenominasi.

BTT sebaliknya. Setelah redenominasi dari BTT menjadi BTTC, jumlah nominalnya malah akan bertambah. Saya jadi kaget ketika melihat jumlah BTTC jadi 33 juta lebih. Tapi dari hasil bacaan beberapa referensi, nilainya tetap mengikuti nilai terakhir, kecuali ke depan naik secara signifikan.

Nah, di Indodax yang merupakan exchanger terbesar di Indonesia, ada pengumuman bahwa tanggal 14 Februari 2022 ada perkembangan terbaru tentang aset BTTC. Saya live dengan Indodax pada 17 Februari 2022 sekitar pukul 16.00 WIB, katanya member diminta menunggu pengumuman berikutnya. Saya juga bertanya apakah mungkin ada perubahan otomatis dari BTT atau BTT old ke BTTC dan masih ada dalam list Indodax, operator menjawab belum bisa memastikan ada atau tidak dan lagi-lagi saya diminta menunggu pengumuman berikutnya.

Saya juga bertanya apakah aset BTT old atau nanti menjadi BTTC tetap aman di wallet Indodax, operator menjadi tetap aman dan tidak akan hilang. Setidaknya jawaban ini sangat melegakan.

Jadi, harus bersabar menunggu pengumuman berikutnya. Saya jadi ingat sebuah poster yang ada di akun Twitter BTTC yang berbunyi: BTTC is my future!
