When one of our pets dies it's a difficult moment for us and they leave a great void. Today's featured author had to say good bye to her friend Lolita, a turtle that she had since she was young and whom she took great care of. Nobody knows exactly what happened to the turtle but she found her lifeless; a sad moment for the author, who now treasures the best memories of Lolita.
We take this opportunity for making a point to remind you that wildlife or exotic species should not be kept as pets at home, since these species need to live in their habitat for their survival, proper development and balance of the ecosystem to which they really belong.
