Greetings, Fellow Wavecrashers!
Sharing a series of wave shots taken a while ago at the Atlantic shores. The oceanic scale had to bring some additional level of respect and as far as I am concerned, it did. Nominally.
The light blue background, A.K.A. the general color of the ocean waters were unforgettable. They still persist in the images I shall share, even though not dominating the big picture at all.
Camera Settings:
Aperture F 8
Shutter Speed 1/1600
Light Sensitivity ISO 200
Focal Length 80 mm
And similar for the next few shots...
Those were windy days with not that hot a weather... despite us being somewhere quite tropic and in the middle of August.
Wind and waves, and those cool streams, seem to beat the time and latitude.
In short, my limited islandeering experience would lead to the statement...
If you want drama, go to Tenerife. If you want calm and warm waters, go to Corfu.
Peace and Inspiration!
Yours,
Manol
