Hello, ocean lovers! I've posted before on my city rivers. They are all connected to the ocean since my city is on the north coast and they all flow into the north Caribbean Sea. Today, walking by the river and knowing there was a new challenge in this new community which I'm liking lots. I'm the kind of person so attached to the ocean and rivers that when I visit a new city anywhere I've been, if that city is not by the ocean, I miss it a lot like a deared family member. Well, today's photos are on the river San Juan, the river that is just about 300 meters from the heart of my city.
River San Juan, behind that bridge you'll find the salty ocean. That'll be another post.
The river side is closed to traffic, the street is full of good art.
This is another bridge from where the river flows from all the way into the ocean. On this concrete wall, when the sun is coming down many citizens sit on it to idlychat or enjoy a drink in one of the numerous small outdoor cafés and bars.
This photo is from the other side of the river and less exploited area. Decades ago, it was full of warehouses and small factories, now is totally abandoned.
The waters itself of the river. As a child I used to jump and swim from side to side and the water in this part is rather salty as it's close to the delta.
Well, leave you the location I took the photos and so you'll be able to see the ocean and city center:

Hope you liked a piece of my fresh/salty water.
