Beautiful Hoarfrost

Back in Winter 2017 there was this very beautiful Hoarfrost in Linz and I decided to meet with some friends for some winter photography at a lake near Linz. The Hoarfrost made the whole scene magical and there was this chain that specially cought my attention since the hoafrost made beautiful structures on it. Also a fence and a goal of a soccer park was very interesting. Usually this kind of hoarfrost it very seldom and there are usually only very small ice crystalls on objects. But this time it was different and I was at the right time on the right place.

Erwin a photography friend of mine had the idea and also knew this place where the hoarfrost was especially good to photograph. We met there and went for a walk around the lake and the nearby scoccer field. The goal and the fence there where the perfect objects, since the hoarfrost was all over it. This was the only time in the last years when I saw such a strong hoarfrost.
