This young leopard was photographed in Namibia. The place is close to Okonjima where the he Africat Foundation is specialized in assisting the big cats through a rehabilitation programme. The animals have usually been found as abandoned cubs. Africat Foundation aims to try to get them to fend for themselves in such a way that they can be released. They are fenced in, but in such a large area that we had to drive around to find them and thus get close.
