This man is sitting in a narraow street by the river Ganges in Varanasi, India. To the Hindus, the river Ganges is seen as river of salvation. A bath in the river has a positive impact. It's a bath that will erase bad karma. Along the river bank there is a continuous series of bathing places i addition to cremation sites.
