Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

The snow arrived in the early hours of the morning. I wasn't expecting this amount, so it was a nice surprise. I cut up some bread to take over to the birds on the village ponds. The snow looked lovely but it was quite foggy as well. Thankfully, it was a bit warmer than it has been.

The swans couldn't always see the white bread on the white snow, so they kept trying to get hold of my bag.

I left some bird seed on the picnic tables as well.

Afterwards, I had a walk around the sports fields. At the top, there is a slope where all the children go sledging.

When it snows, I like these little pockets of colour from objects that are usually quite boring.

Snow isn't just for children though. Daddy's little girl wasn't that interested, so daddy carried on making his giant snowball. 😁

Someone's pooch was having a good time in the snow. It seems to hype some dogs up.

I left the local farmer trying to clear the snow from the roads. He does it for free. Local hero!
