One of my goals this year was to bring my old horror community back to life. Halloween was the perfect time to give it that push, but for some reason I didn't do it, I guess fear and terror never rest, even after Halloween.

Ever since I was a kid, my mother has been passionate about all things horror and paranormal. I remember when I was a kid she took me to see the movie: The Ring, I could never sleep, I even think I remember the feeling of that day, an immense fear invaded me and I could only hide under my sweater, however, I could not escape from the chilling sounds that echoed in the room.

For some reason human beings love these kinds of feelings, that strange adrenaline rush that runs through the whole body. Growing up I was still a coward, camouflaging myself through pillows to avoid taking a jumpscare and not having nightmares of a woman's face in makeup. Later, these movies and this type of content would become one of my favorites. I'm sure many people love horror, suspense, that feeling I already mentioned, you can never escape it, you will always go looking for it.

If you are in search of that feeling, Hive Dark Side is for you. Currently with the lack of content and the long absence that the community has had, it really looks like a cemetery where they house witches and evil entities, yet I think that even Gasper doesn't touch it, so it's time to resurrect it. The first days of having introduced it, it had quite a large audience, at least more than I expected, plus it had an excellent amount of subscribers and good content, it was destined to be great. The first contest I organized was a complete success and motivated me to organize the next one; which had almost no participants and really demotivated me a lot, I gave up too fast.

It's time to come back and this time I won't give up. You can support the community with your content, even with crossposting. Any kind of content related to the paranormal and the dark will be welcome here (Drawings, movie reviews, made up stories or paranormal experiences that you or someone close to you has lived, strange sightings, dark photography, makeup, videogames, more).

👽Terrofusion💀

The time has come for terror to invade the community, Terrofusion will be the first contest after so long. Your duty will be to gather the worst evil entities of your childhood, those that did not let you sleep, those that made you turn off the light and jump into bed so you could not be caught. After gathering them, you will have to recreate your own story, your own movie. Simple.

👽Rules:💀

• Your story must have a fusion, there is no limit to it. Your evil entity can be all in one and contain the characteristics of many, or you can make a crossover of evil. Example #1, Fusion: Jason Krueger, an evil spirit with sharp claws, a hockey mask and a machete. Example #2, Crossover: Jason and Freddy Krueger team up to kill everyone. I hope you can understand the examples, but feel free to ask any questions if something is not clear.

• After developing your entity/entities, you will have to bring them to life in a story created by you. The most important thing is that you express your real fears and include them in your story.

• Your content must contain at least 300 words, maximum 1666 words, otherwise it will not be considered. Also, only one entry per user will be allowed.

• You can use any available resource to express your story, Google images, even if you want to tell a story and participate with a video, you can do it. In the same way those artists who want to make an effort and demonstrate their fusion through drawings, make-up, or other artistic medium, can also do so. As I know it takes extra effort, you will be rewarded for your work. Remember to add the sources of the resources you use.

• Each user should add their entry in the comments of this post. In addition to this you must also comment on at least 2 posts of any participant. Remember that the most important thing in a community is the people.

• Your post must have the hashtag #horrorneverdies.

The contest will last 7 days and for the contest to take place there must be at least 8 participants. What is a contest without its participants? If this last condition is not met, those users who have participated will be rewarded equally.

Una de mis metas de este año era darle vida a mi vieja comunidad de terror. Halloween era el momento perfecto para darle ese empujón, pero por alguna razón no lo hice, supongo que el miedo y el terror nunca descansan, incluso después de Halloween.

Desde chico, mi madre ha sido una apasionada a todo lo relacionado con el mundo del terror y lo paranormal. Recuerdo que de pequeño me llevó a ver la película: The Ring, jamás pude dormir, incluso creo recordar el sentimiento de aquel día, un inmenso miedo me invadía y yo solo podía estar escondido bajo mi suéter, sin embargo, no podía escapar de los escalofriantes sonidos que retumbaban en la sala.

Por alguna razón el ser humano adora este tipo de sentimientos, esa adrenalina extraña que recorre todo el cuerpo. Mientras crecía seguía siendo un cobarde, me camuflaba a través de almohadas para evitar llevarme un jumpscare y no tener pesadillas con la cara de una mujer maquillada. Más tarde, estas películas y este tipo de contenido se convertirían en uno de mis favoritos. Estoy seguro de que muchas personas adoran el terror, el suspenso, ese sentimiento que ya les mencioné, jamás podrán escapar de él, siempre irán a buscarlo.

Si estás en la búsqueda de ese sentimiento, Hive Dark Side es para ti. Actualmente con la falta de contenido y la larga ausencia que ha tenido la comunidad, realmente parece un cementerio en donde albergan brujas y entes malignos, aún así creo que ni Gasper la toca, así que es momento de resucitarla. Los primeros días de haberla introducido, tuvo bastante público, al menos más del que yo esperaba, además de que tuvo una cantidad excelente de suscriptores y buen contenido, estaba destinada a ser grande. El primer concurso que organicé fue un completo éxito y me motivó a organizar el siguiente; el cual no tuvo casi participantes y realmente me desmotivó bastante, me rendí demasiado rápido.

Es momento de volver y esta vez no me rendiré. Puedes apoyar a la comunidad con tu contenido, incluso con crossposting. Cualquier tipo de contenido relacionado a lo paranormal y lo oscuro será bienvenido aquí. (Dibujos, reseñas de películas, historias inventadas o experiencias paranormales que tú o alguien cercano haya vivido, avistamientos extraños, fotografía oscura, maquillaje, videojuegos, más).

👽Terrofusion💀

Ha llegado el momento de que el terror invada la comunidad, Terrofusion será el primer concurso después de tanto tiempo. Tu deber será juntar a los peores entes malignos de tu infancia, esos que no te dejaban dormir, esos que te hacían apagar la luz y dar un brinco hasta la cama para no poder ser cogido. Luego de juntarlos, deberás de recrear tu propia historia, tu propia película. Simple.

👽Reglas:💀

• Tu relato deberá de contar con una fusión, no existe límite para ello. Tu ente maligno puede ser todo en uno y contener la características de muchos, o bien puedes hacer un crossover de maldad. Ejemplo #1, Fusión: Jason Krueger, un espíritu maligno con garras filosas, máscara de hockey y un machete. Ejemplo #2, Crossover: Jason y Freddy Krueger se juntan para matar a todos. Espero que puedas entender los ejemplos, de igual forma puedes hacer cualquier pregunta si algo no quedó claro.

• Después de hacer el desarrollo de tu ente/entes, deberás de darles vida en una historia creada por ti. Lo más importante es que expreses tus verdaderos miedos y los incluyas en tu historia.

• Tu contenido debe de contener al menos 300 palabras, máximo 1666, de lo contrario, no será tomado en cuenta. Además, solo se admitirá una entrada por usuario.

• Puedes utilizar cualquier recurso disponible para expresar tu historia, imágenes de Google, incluso si quieres relatar una historia y participar con un vídeo, puedes hacerlo. De la misma manera aquellos artistas que se quieran esforzar y demostrar su fusión a través de dibujos, maquillaje, u otro medio artístico, también pueden hacerlo. Como sé que eso conlleva a un esfuerzo extra, serán recompensados por su trabajo. Recuerda añadir las fuentes de los recursos que utilices.

• Cada usuario deberá de añadir su entrada en los comentarios de este post. Además de esto también deberás comentar al menos 2 posts de cualquier participante. Recuerda que lo más importante de una comunidad, es la gente.
