My Favorite Cookies, Coffee Cookies...

Still in the atmosphere of Eid Mubarak, some of the typical Eid dishes are still served on the table. One of them is a variety of cookies. Actually, these cookies can be made at any time and not just before the holidays. However, due to tradition, making cookies is more often done as a tradition before the Eid and complements the dish on that special day.

Taking first place for cookies with a fair amount of fans are coffee cookies. This cake is the most sought after cookies every time relatives visit the house. The unique shape resembles the shape of a coffee bean, the smell of coffee, and the combination of delicious chocolate and coffee flavors make these cookies an idol.

Because of the shape, taste and smell that make me miss, I decided to make these cookies again as a snack. The ingredients are simple and the method of making these cookies is very easy. The ingredients used include butter, powdered sugar, eggs, wheat flour, coffee, and cocoa powder.

After all the dough is well mixed, the dough is formed into small oval shapes with small sizes, about 3 grams for one cookies. After all the dough is formed, then in the middle of each cookie we slice it with the tip of a knife, so that when baked the slice opens and forms a split like a real coffee bean.

Then the cookies are baked in the oven with a temperature of up and down 150 degrees for 30 minutes. After ripe, remove from the oven and allow the heat to dissipate before storing these cookies in a closed container.

This is my favorite cookies, suitable as a snack any time. When relaxing while watching tv, while talking with friends or family, while taking a walk, or friends drinking cold or hot drinks can also be.
