Cada vez que me siento stresada preparo el café en filtro de tela, porque me traslada al pasado sin moverme de lugar, recordar esas mañanas dirás en el campo, dónde el frío nos arropa y las neblinas cubrían las montañas haciendo un paisaje hermoso, y mi abuela colando el café con un colador hecho de tela por ella misma, aromatizando así todo el lugar y al mismo tiempo haciéndole una invitación a todos a. Que vengan a disfrutar de una taza de café bien caliente y a nosotras las niñas de la casa nos daban una tacita de café con leche.

Aunque tengo en casa una cafetera electrica de esas que usan filtro de papel, cuando quiero hacer un café especial lo preparo con el filtro de tela, es decir a la antigua. Dependiendo del lugar en que nos encontremos al filtro de tela, se le llaman: calcetín, chorreador, colador de café o media para café, le decían media para café porque según cuenta la historia, que durante la guerra los militares franceses utilizaban sus medias para volar el café y así estar atentos a los enemigos.

- Pongo a calentar en agua, procurando que no hierva. Luego coloco una cantidad generosa de café en el filtro de tela, considerando que cantidad y que tan puro quieras tú café.
I heat water, making sure that it does not boil. Then I place a generous amount of coffee in the cloth filter, considering the amount and how pure you want your coffee to be.
Luego le agregamos un chorrito de agua caliente en círculo sobre el café y dejamos que filtre.

Aunque tengamos muchas maneras de realizar el café, peus tenemos cafeteras eléctricas, grecas, que usan distintos tipos de filtro como los de papel o metal que también quedan muy rico, tengo claro por propia experiencia que colar el café con filtro de tela o comodoro de tela es una experiencia inolvidable.
